I had a really good breakfast burrito here and a really good dark chocolate mocha latte. The atmosphere is casual, pleasant, and relaxed
I love their coffee and the people are friendly but do not stop here unless you have lots of time. They are very s l o w. I have experienced this at both the drive through and going inside.

If you plan to study or do computer work that relies on internet, don't come here. Wifi is unreliable. Overpaid for coffee and when I told staff the wifi wasn't working, I was told "tough luck". Won't be coming here again.

The purpose of this is to display this establishments lack of consistency in their food. I stopped patronizing River Maiden over 2 years ago because every time I ordered, I would get home and find that my order was completely incorrect or had certain things missing. Some of which were add-ons that were paid for. Fast forward to today, 3/19/25, I ordered a breakfast burrito and added avocado, only to get home and find that there was absolutely NO avocado. This is not my contribution to pettiness, but more a warning to other people who frequent this business. They haven’t changed the way they double check orders and they definitely haven’t had any discussions with staff about paying attention to detail with customer orders. This is a principle based review. I wake up everyday and run my business with consistency and utmost attention to detail for the public. Hopefully this can be a reminder for River Maiden to step up and do the same. It’s not hard and it’s not asking much at all.

Enjoyed a matcha latte with oat milk and the vegan breakfast sandwich. Nice spot with indoor and outdoor seating.

I always enjoy my coffee and food here. Though the wait is sometimes long, it is worth it. Kinda wish the sausage in the breakfast sandwich was in pieces rather than links just tossed in there.

Absolutely best scones I have ever had!
I had my food delivered. The egg Sando is the very best breakfast sandwich in the area. It’s so good at a great price. The home made ciabatta and the way the eggs are prepared make for a special treat. Filling too!

The best coffee shop in Vancouver. Coffee is fantastic, food all scratch and very tasty, plenty of seating indoors and out, talented baristas. My friends and I are obsessed ✨ (my dog likes it too)
