I liked this place a lot!The staff was super friendly and the breakfast burrito was 10/10 deliciousness. I did get the Boba Fett drink because it was a specialty of the house and I was not a fan. I can see how it appeals to some but the drink was too chaotic for me. The flavors didn't blend well.I also really enjoyed the vintage star wars vibe inside.Lastly, I did think it was a little overpriced but not so much that I'd never go back.

Service has gotten really bad, especially for to go orders. They are consistently late, apathetic, and chatty with customers to a point where it's no longer a convenient option for me. Which is a shame because their food is pretty good. But given how expensive it is, I expect better service.

Great place for a cup of coffee or tea with your Bestie. My sugar free vanilla & caramel macchiato was perfect! They will also do what they can to accommodate dietary restrictions. I will definitely go again!Dietary restrictions: They are happy to make substitutions for people with dietary restrictions. I avoid carbs so instead of an egg sandwich, I had scrambled eggs topped with chives & avocado. It was excellent!

We ordered the egg sandwich add bacon. The sandwiches were really filling and good.My husband got an Americano and an OJ also. He said we’re really good also.Nice polite people who work at and in the lobby area.

My husband and I struggle to find restaurants and especially coffee shops that we both like. We both loved river maiden! They breakfast sandwich was delicious, the lattes so well balanced. He got a pour over, and they offered like 5 choices of beans to choose from. And the prices were very reasonable. Next time we’re in Vancouver, we’ll definitely be back!

Loved the food & drinks, everything was delicious! I’m still craving the avocado toast I had. We received vouchers to come here from The Supper Club.Wish there were more seating indoors, outside was too cold, we wanted to eat here.We ended up bringing our food to eat in the car after initially asking for here, we said to-go for lack of seating.Ended up waiting for 30 minutes but it felt like everyone had come & gone after us, but maybe that was just because it was a busy Saturday morning and they did mobile orders? Not totally sure!It was my second time coming here and I don’t remember having the lack of seating or waiting for a long time before.Last time there wasn’t the kitchen taking up the seating space!Overall very delicious food and would go again! But next time we would order it online or be prepared for a longer wait, and possibly no seating.
I came here for the first time and was absolutely blown away!I recommend pulling up their online menu so you can see and choose all the tasty options for their egg sandwiches.Their onion jam is to die for! I love rosemary, and it was tastefully added in. The fresh scrambled eggs and crispy ciabatta bread was heavenly put together!Especially for the price!!!Their cold brew was also super smooth, all in all, this is my new favorite breakfast spot, I could not recommend it more!

River Maiden was a the best local place to get coffee. I’m glad to see they’re still around through COVID, disappointed nothing has improved over the last two years. Oat milk lattes consistently come half empty if you order two oat milk lattes at a time. My guess is they’re only making one pitcher of steamed oatmilk and doing their best to stretch it into two cups. I’ve been forgotten about in the waiting lanes for over 40 minutes, I miss the consistency but the coffee flavor is good. Food snacks are good. Worth a try but not my every weekend coffee shop anymore.

I'm sad. This place has great breakfast Sando and avocado toast. I went in last week and tried to order at the coffee counter like I did previously. I was told to walk to a new little stand and wait there for someone to take my order. No one came for several minutes and I walked out hungry because I was working and needed to get moving. Hungry, I walked out and drove my car through the drive thru instead which was staffed. The toast was yummy. The new set up is a little confusing and they seemed understaffed inside.

I absolutely hate the fact that they always seem to be out of stock of almost everything, especially the main stays like sandos and drinks. It's not quite 12pm on a Saturday....?
