Ok… the guy at the front counter ain’t gonna win any personality contests. Not particularly welcoming, just doing his job, seemed bored with it all. Says, when it’s ready it’ll be on the table behind me. Great! Even the semi fast food places usually at least bring the tray to the table, jeez, it’s like 10 feet. That would all be okay if the food were stellar, if it struck a note of love or inspiration, or even a teeny bit of surprise.I got the Panini Turkey Club with the cup of soup, because who wants bagged potato chips?Looked ok, real sliced turkey, that looked good. But biting into it, I was underwhelmed, nothing particularly inspiring there. Ok, it was juicy, but the panini was thin and untoasted on the inside which meant by the third bite it was mushy all the way to the crust. Not a good mouth feel. The cheese broccoli soup was meh, not savory, not exciting, not memorable… I should have stuck with the potato chips. I’m also not fond of tiny plastic spoons when trying to eat soup.A step up from cafeteria food, a step down from most of the other sandwich places I’ve visited in town.Maybe, just maybe, the guy running it has fallen out of love with what he’s doing and he should hand over the culinary reins to someone else. The place has potential to be special. It’s such a great corner and fun looking building and to be straight, it wasn’t awful, it just wasn’t memorable.

I didn't really like that they are still using paper plates and plastic forks. But, if they feel the need to continue so they can stay in business, it's ok.

I'll admit I can be a bit skeptical when a restaurant names an item "The Best", but at Rosemary Cafe, their chicken salad REALLY IS. It has the perfect balance of sweet and savory, has an ideal meat-to-sauce ratio, and has that homemade taste that can't be forged. The cafe itself is quaint and the owners are friendly. Support your local lunch spot!!

Nice little place. We are new here, and we decided to go here when we found out Christine's was closed for the 4th of July holiday. Excellent choice! The food here is great!

I was early for an appointment so I thought I'd get some breakfast. It was 10:15am. No breakfast, only lunch menu. I'd read about the chicken salad so I ordered half. Arrived on a paper plate with some chips. It was a decent chicken salad but needed seasoning. And it was $9.75! I was apprehensive about asking for anything because the guy running the place seemed so unhappy to be there! Didn't say good morning, how's your sandwich, can I get you anything? I was the only person there at 10:15 on a Thursday morning! Maybe people have forgotten how to be polite. I wouldn't return.

Restaurant is very quaint. Chicken Salad was very good. But I am huge on customer service. The person who took our order was not customer service oriented. My friends from San Diego noticed right away. I will not go back. I always believe a smile or a warm welcoming is you best asset.

Rosemary's was the first place my family visited when we moved here almost 10 years ago. Very Mom and Pop but classic cafe style. The owner is amazing and very professional yet like your neighborhood dad. Talked with my son and made things special when he was having a rough morning. Wish they were still open on the weekends, but my husband and I go sneak away on a quick lunch date during the week now and then

Such a nice little cafe with a truly genuine feel. The jaz playing lightly in the background and all the history around you, makes this place quite charming. Oh! And the sandwiches are delicious!

Absolutely amazing!! We ordered the chicken noodle soup, Wednesday special (tomato bisque with grilled cheese), and the turkey reuben. The food brought me right back to nights at my great-grandmas house. Superb. The vibe is reminiscent of my grandmothers as well, in the perfect way. Even my very picky two year old devoured his chicken noodle soup. The vibe is very laid back, which we enjoyed. Cookies were great too! We are so happy we stopped in.

Open for dine-in. Quaint interior with music to match the atmosphere. Friendly, quick service. Temporary dividers between tables. Currently doesn’t seem set up for parties of more than 2 or 3.

Love this place, BEST chicken salad sandwich around. Definitely recommend it.

Delicious bread used for hot sandwiches (it seemed homemade? not sure). My Cuban was tasty. My brother got the tuna melt and he said it was OK. The army beans and ham soup tasted a little watery, so I would pass on that particular soup. But I would 100% visit again for another Cuban!
