Busy morning, help was fast and courteous as it was my son and myself first time trying. Good recommendations and Elizabeth at the counter was extremely kind and helpful to us and everyone in line even being very busy. Will definitely be making it a pre golf stop.

This is probably the worst coffee/breakfast sandwich combo I’ve had in Vancouver. The bagel was soggy, the pumpkin butter (or whatever it was) was absolutely globbed on, and the sandwich itself was cold. Not lukewarm, cold. Like it hadn’t been sitting on the counter for an hour before it was wrapped up. The coffee is fine but it is cloyingly sweet. I’m willing to try this place again and update my review if it’s better but this was really, really bad in every possible way.

Crisp exterior, dense yet tender crumb, rich malty flavor—these bagels are exactly what bagels are supposed to be. Every bite has the right balance of chew and softness, with a fresh-baked aroma that actually makes you slow down to appreciate it. The spreads taste made in-house, with cream cheese that’s luxuriously smooth and generously applied, not a token smear. Service is quick without feeling rushed, and the staff actually remembers regulars and their orders. The shop is clean, well-kept, and smells like a working bakery, not a chain café. Prices are fair for the quality, and the consistency from visit to visit is remarkable. This isn’t “good for the area”—this is the benchmark for how a bagel should be anywhere.

Hi there. First-time buyer here. And newly converted to lifetime consumer. 😎 I'm from out of state and decided to try a local shop.

I got my cold brew and a breakfast bagel.

The staff was super friendly and welcoming.

Visiting from out of town not a good first impression .The the manager talking my order was very rude and then proceeded to yell at her employees very unprofessional . Begal had avocado when I specially said no avocado due to being allergic . Just threw it away because no point talking to the manager. Didn't want the manager to yell at her employee again.

Found a hair on my Bagel. No one wears a hairnet and I counted at least 7 employees with LONG HAIR and 2 Bald guy's..

I frequent this location as I work nearby. The staff is stellar!! I appreciate the non bagel options on the menu, makes for a great lunch stop.

Side note: Always be leary of those who jump to a one star review because of minor mistakes or inconveniences. This reflects more on the person who is inclined to complain more than the establishment. I'm embarrassed for some of these people and their negative reviews.

One word: monstrosity. I asked for the BYO vegan ham, egg and cheese toasted, and this is what I got. It wasn't even toasted, just cold. The customer service seemed cold, like I was a bother? It was off putting.

I'm sad as I've been coming here and on off for 5 years and this? No thanks. I didn't even eat it, threw it away, and left.

Bagel was cold, which is fine honestly. The real issue was the decor, or the total lack of it. Felt like sitting in a freaking concrete box. Like holy shot bro, would it bankrupt y'all to put a got dang painting on the wall or something??? Reminds me of my mental institute.

Great staff. Saturday morning, and the parking lot was being paved. DMV is right next door, and the line blocked the entry. At first, thought it was the line for the bagel shop. But glad I decided to walk up instead of driving away like others did. Friendly staff, wonderful service, and just overall a great vibe. Can't wait to go back.

It is completely UNACCEPTABLE for my sandwich, that I did not order avocado on, to have avocado on it. Plus all over the wrapper. This is the second time I’ve had this happen at this specific location and it’s absolutely ridiculous. They should be using clean knives OR AT THE VERY LEAST A DIFFERENT ONE!!! I love Seize the Bagel. But this location needs to understand how bad it could be if someone were severely allergic.
