My husband and I decided to try Shanahan’s because we heard their Reubans were good. The food was good, but the service was horrible as was the atmosphere. We are not used to having to go to the bar to order, that being said, we could have handled that had it not been for the fact the staff was so unfriendly and extremely rude. No one smiles, they were rude, make no eye contact, and utterly threw our plates on the table without any comment and walked away without even an acknowledgment when we said thank you. This is utterly deplorable and extremely horrible customer service. Consequently, we will never come back or recommend it to anyone.

The Food was gross. It took 40 minutes and when they finally brought it, all food it was cold including the fries and the chilli-burger was so nasty. Will never eat there again. None of us ate the food.
Great tavern, good food. Not really a great place for a meeting. To dark and it is hard to hear others while they are speaking. Has reasonable prices and good customer service. I went a real estate meeting there just not a good atmosphere for that.

Hands down this is the best bar in Vancouver. Love the food, the bartenders, shout out to Andy and Misty. This staff is a team from when you walk in, to ordering drinks, food (kitchen staff you rock) If you've never been here you don't know what you're missing. Come say hi and have a cold one!!!!!

Stopped in for happy hour after being picked up at the airport. The drinks were refreshing and well made. We had Irish nachos, I think that's what they were called. I've never had them, potato skins with corn beef, cabbage, cheese, not sure what else, so glad I tried them. There was also an order of chicken strip, very well prepared and tasted very good.
