This place probably doesn't deserve 4 stars in any objective sense, but this is a subjective review so 4 stars is what it's getting.

This is one of the last Shari's, if not the last. It's known as a pie shop yet when we were there on a Friday afternoon, they had only 2 pies, Dutch Apple and coconut cream. While the Dutch apple was delicious, having such a limited choice was disappointing. Good location, free parking, good service, reasonable prices.

Shari's after COVID is nothing like it use to be. Most of its food is pre-cooked microwaved - even the pancakes are pre-cooked and just microwaved(horrible tasting rubbery pancakes). Service is ok, but you can tell the servers are over worked for what they do.
Atmosphere - the Shari's we use to go to in Vancouver, Washington was closed down, so we went to the one on Wa 503, near Fred Meyers. This place needs a complete remodel. Floors dirty, rugs are probably 30 years old, torn upholstery in many booths. No music being playing, no pies in pie display. Place had a bit of a musty smell. It's showing its age.

Our server was so rude. The bathroom was trashed. The food was dry and gross. We asked to pay for our meal and she said she would be back later and we had to wait another half an hour before we could pay because they were so understaffed. She didn’t know how to use our card because she said they didn’t have a swipe option. Overall bad experience.

Someone is lying. Turn off the sign if you're not open.
Family went to eat breakfast one morning. Our fave pie (banana cream) wasn’t made so ordered one for later pick up so that was a good and bad thing (We live 10mi. away but it is always a good treat.). Pie wasn’t as good as it used to be (Can’t place the reason…) but was still a good treat.

Is it the best burger ever? No … but if you want comfort, not fancy, straight up good beef and a magical tasting bun, eat here.

A Hidden Gem That Feels Like Home!
Sherri’s Café and Pies is the kind of place that makes you feel welcome the moment you walk through the door. The atmosphere is cozy, the staff treats you like family, and the food? Absolutely delicious!
Their breakfast menu is everything you'd hope for—fluffy pancakes, crispy bacon, and eggs cooked just the way you like. But the real star of the show is the pie. Sherri’s pies are legendary—homemade, perfectly sweet, and filled with love in every bite. The cherry and coconut cream pies are personal favorites, but honestly, you can't go wrong with any of them.
Service is always friendly and quick, even when they’re busy. You can tell the people here care about what they do, and it shows in every detail—from the hot coffee refills to the warm smiles.
If you're looking for a place with great food, a welcoming vibe, and the best pie in town, Sherri’s is it. Highly recommend!

I came here for brunch with my girlfriend. The waitress was somewhat attentive. I got the hangover burger and asked for over easy egg that it was supposed to come with. We get our food and no egg. Now I don't like to complain when something isn't right unless it's really really bad. So I didn't say anything about it.
The fries were overdone but tasted OK. Waitress didn't even check up on us after we got our food. We got the check and the check said no egg. The waitress even asked me how I wanted the egg done!
When I paid the waitress looked like she didn't care. She's lucky I even gave her a tip. Have some pride in your work. You don't like your job find a different one.

I visited the only existing Shari's in Vancouver this morning. I'm a little surprised that it's still around. The omelette I ordered was unfortunately sub par.. it was not hot.. in fact the cheese wasn't even melted. The. pancake was too done on one side. It was impossible to cut through with a fork! I gave up trying. The sweet little server was very accommodating and super friendly. She would do well in another establishment. We need a good breakfast joint so I hope this Shari's will step it up a bit!
