Why did you close this location?
It was always busy and the staff was wonderful, kind and efficient! The food was great as well. We've been there dozens of times over the past year and went to have breakfast today only to find it closed! Now we have to go clear out to the Mall or Orchards, which is miles out of our way. There are very few places in our area to have a sit down breakfast in a comfortable and quiet restaurant. This was convenient to Camas, the hospital and right off the freeway

The Benedict scramble is really good!
I just came back after being gone for 4 years... and this place is completely different, in a bad way! Very small menu, no cinnamon roll pancakes, not the same menu you see online. Terrible :( from 5 stars down to one now, avoid this place!
Closed?
Drove by at 11am, and there were no lights on, looked so empty. Bummer.
Rude hostess. Waited 10 minutes for seating and she wouldn't communicate to me or give me a heads up. When I asked how much longer she wasn't acting apologetic. Atleast communicate to me and act like you care about the costumers. We ended up going to Elmer's across the street and they're way more organized and friendly to their costumers. Im not some entitled ass that expects everyone to bow down to my feet. Is it too much to ask for a smile and feel welcomed instead of an inconvenience? If you don't like your job find something else.
Ever since new ownership took over, their menu has shrunk down to just two pages, they are constantly out of food or drink items, hours have changed to 8 AM to 8 PM and the AC has been broken since summer so it is constantly sweating hot inside. Staff is always extremely helpful and cheerful, but everything else has changed for the worst

I’ve always wanted to come here. The pictures made it look very nice. Very disappointed. Tiles missing from the ceiling, carpet dirty, no host, laminated one page menu, smaller portions (compared to photos), only 3 pies in that big case.

Ordered 2 chicken fried steak meals...
Tried to order 1 hamburger patty but that was refused. Had to order french fries in order to have 1 hamburger patty only...
That has never been an issue before.
The french fries looked very unappetizing..
Bread usually comes with the meal but there was no bread...
A little dab of mashed potato's on the plate..
Just disappointing..
.It was over $50.00 and so disappointing.
1 piece of lomon cream pie and it was kind of gritty. Never had that happen before either.
Will never go there again...

This was a fantastic little place to stop for some breakfast food, which they serve all day.
We had omelettes and pie - both were great.
They actually have a few sugar free options on the pies - which is great news for those of us watching our sugar intake. We had the sugar free Marionberry pie and you really couldn't even tell. Although don't believe the hype about Marionberries in this state - they're really just blackberries by another name.

Absolutely a disgrace! I remember this restaurant to be place you loved taking ur family, an American treasure….. this location is absolutely TRASH! My husband and I stood at the counter to be seated for over 7 min and there was only us, when we asked, “im sorry, do we seat ourselves? With an inquisitive tone we were meet with a low melatonin annoyed waitress that didn’t even look at us and said “we will be with u in a min” another 5 min and we decided to leave and went to Elmers across the street. Much much better! This Shari’s is a depressing atmosphere and smells gross to top it off and the pie was limited and looked old.

7pmish. It's really gone downhill, you could have thought they were closing. Could have been a long day, but...no smile or friendly welcome. We were a table of 3. We had to wait for them to clear and clean the very back one, as every other booth was also not prepped...maybe 5 or 6 other patrons at this point. The menu is now 2 pages back to back, and there's not a whole lot of variety. My "tillamook" burger was lukewarm, overcooked in parts, and the cheese was so thinly sliced that it stuck and solidified to the top bun. Mediocre fries, 1/3 of them inedible, and it took like 20 minutes for that plus 2 chicken florentines, and 2 of the smallest and oddest-looking baked potatoes I've ever seen- which were also not great. Some guy with a jamaican accent came in, and had an awkward exchange with the staff about an incident that I guess happened earlier...something about a little girl getting touched? Um, yikes! We're trying to muscle through a tough meal here, I feel like they could have redirected that conversation away from our table. The saving graces were the attentiveness of the server. At least a refill each without asking and my father even got a 3rd, and the pie is good. They had a sign above the display case "fresh baked daily" no they aren't! They're bought in. We tried to give the hostess some friendly engagement to try and turn around her night, she wasn't really having it, looked really annoyed the entire time. Sad, pre-covid they were still 24 hrs. Many memories of when you had to wait for a table because there were actually that many people in there, you could buy the daily edition of one of 6 local newspapers, and their pie display was full and vibrant. If we give them one more shot, we'll be sure to always ask for Carol, she has a can-do attitude and has made every experience enjoyable. Unfortunately she wasn't working this night, or it might have been a much better experience.
