All the bartenders were very rude, told us to get out the way when we were trying to closing tabs and get a last drink. Says they close at 2 but they kicked us out at 1:20. Won’t be going back

I don’t usually leave reviews but this was so embarrassing and unprofessional I had to. This was my first and last time coming to this bar. The other day I came in with my boyfriend to meet up with a couple of our friends. The bartender wanted to check my id. No problem. I hand the lady my id and she wants to say “lots of vertical id’s” which I didn’t respond to. My id expires next year and I know its up to the bar and bartender wether or not they want to accept vertical id which again is not a problem, however when she goes to scan it with her machine, the machine isn’t working. She proceeds to tell me she knows i’m not lying to her however her machine isn’t working. She tried a couple more times and it finally beeped and turned green. And I assume that it’s saying my id is good to go and valid, which it is. She asks people sitting around if they heard/ saw that which we all reply yes. She then shows my id to these older gentleman sitting at the bar and says “so folks what do we think about this one” to which they reply with “it’s a fake” and “she’s lying”. She then turns to me and says she can’t accept my id and that I need to leave. Absolutely unprofessional to show my id to other customers. If she would have shown her coworker and asked about it I wouldn’t have cared. but the fact that she showed my id to random people sitting at the bar with their drinks is not okay. I was so embarrassed. I walked over to my friends to tell them I had to leave since she doesn’t want to accept my id and as i'm walking towards the door she wants to yell at me saying I can’t be in here and I needed to get out. I told her I just wanted to let my friends know really quick as they were sitting not even 10 feet from where the bar was. Once again I know it’s up to the bar if they want to accept vertical id or not but it’s not okay to show and ask other paying customers their opinion. My friends and I will never be coming back to this establishment.

First experience here, not the best. 2nd & 3rd time, the same. It’s quite clear that if you’re not white then you won’t get good customer service. They were rude to me all the times I went in hoping it might be different this time, but nope. I won’t be back again. If you’re a colored person don’t even waste your time. They will treat you badly & I personally know others that can say the same thing about this place.

This place is quite large. There's a couple pool tables and darts in the front as you go in the door. Some seating to the right and bar, which is quite long with a decent selection of booze as soon as you enter. Keep going to the left back area and there are 2 rows or pool tables. Nice blue felt. Decent tables. Don't know exactly how many but id say at least maybe 20 tables. Plus more table seating the length of the entire room lining the perimeter. I think the front can be kinda loud for my liking but its mostly due to music or karaoke night. Its a wide variety of people that go there but people seem friendly and up beat from what I've seen. Worth checking out or to meet and hang out with friends. Parking can be hard if its a busy night as the lot fills up quick being in a strip mall location. Smoking is only allowed out front and away from entrance so no smoking patio or outside seating.

Absolutely spacious bar with great bartender service. The pool tables are clean and level. The quesadilla I ordered was a mess, with a side of grease.

The service was terrible, the bartenders were not taking orders correctly. The guy smelled like weed the whole and acted like he didn't want to be there. We reserved a pool table for an hour and had to keep asking them to unlock the table. They kicked everyone out of the bar at 1:30 when it closes at 2 after giving a 5 minute warning at 1:25.
We also reserved one of the professional pool tables and were asked to bring the balls back after 30 minutes.

A massive area for those who enjoy pool, and I typically judge bars by their food. The full plate of nachos for 15 bucks was unparalleled by any other bar I have encountered in the area.👌 I would also recommend the prickly pear cider.

My bar tender Cierra greeted me with an intoxicating smile and her spicy attitude made it easy to sit on my stool and get know her better. Her local knowledge of Menard and continuous smile made it easy to sit and consider staying the night in the charming Air BNB rooms located just above the bar and restaurants.Granted I was passing through with no intention to do so beforehand but reconsidering was the only way to go at this point. Ascending the short flight of stairs I was whisked away into a ranch style room with convex shower door and western style motif that made me wanna stay for days considering Cierra was just a few steps away. I highly recommend the Silver Spur Saloon simply because of Cierra’s smile and that she made me feel like family from the moment I walked in. Go check it out and if you’re lucky enough Cierra will be working.
