I ordered a cake from Simply sweets, three layer, 10 in white cake with buttercream icing. I asked that the icing be flavored with almond flavoring which they refuse to do. I asked them to put the Almond flavoring in the cake instead which they also refused. When I asked why they said we just don't do it. I also I also asked for filling in the cake which they also refused to do. This is ridiculous they have a menu of some 25 or 30 cakes available many of which have fillings or flavorings but the white cake did not and they refused to modify it in any way. This is ridiculous for somebody who's supposed to be making custom cakes. When I pick the cake up it was very pretty. It was for my daughter's birthday. I was very disappointed about the cake itself, it was dry, flavorless, and the frosting tasted like powdered sugar rather than a good buttercream frosting. So all this, a three-layer 10-in white cake with no flavor and powdered sugar frosting for $500. Be cautious, ask more questions before you order.

OMG this place was supper cute and such a lovely place. This year my youngest child was turning the big 21 she deiced that she wanted to do cupcakes so we searched and found this lovely lil bakery it had so many flavor options, amazing customer service witch made this whole new experience so nice for us. We live down in Portland and made the drive up to Vancouver wa where they were located not knowing if these were going to be good or not LET me just say BEST CUPCAKES we have ever had or tried. So worth the drive we so suggest that everyone try this place. We defiantly will be gong back to try every flavor no matter how long it takes us cuz they are just that good. They really have so many amazing flavors to try, we can’t wait. Thank you to this amazing place for making my baby’s 21st so good. 1 Happy Mamma

They made a beautiful cake for my daughter's 30th birthday. (Beautiful and delicious!) While I was picking it up, I grabbed some scones (the maple pecan was gorgeous) and pastries for breakfast. I'll get my younger daughter's cake from them as well, and my own next spring. I highly recommend them.

Simply sweets made it look even better! They also were able to make our cake full gluten-free and had several flavor options, which isn’t that common these days! I am just so happy with the service they provided and I would recommend them to anyone!
