Delicious, even it’s a little bit expensive but worth it.

Authentic Taiwanese food! Try it.
The fan tuan was delicious and well made! The wait for our food was a bit crazy though. We ordered the bao, pancake, and fan tuan. The pork bao was very dry and the pancake tasted good. Overall, the food is tasty but you’ll have to wait at least 30mins for any order.

The charge feels like highway robbery — adding pork floss costs an extra $3! On top of that, the food is bland and not worth the price.
It's just way too expensive.
Crispy chicken takes a little time but well worth the wait
Ive been twice now despite the market having so many options. Both times I've gotten the gua bao, one each of pork and mushroom. The pork is so good and the bao so fluffy!!

A Hidden Gem at the Farmers Market!
This booth is a must-visit for anyone exploring the farmers market. The flavors transported me straight to Taiwan, offering an authentic taste experience. Every dish I tried was delicious, with a perfect balance of traditional and unique ingredients.
Whether you're familiar with Taiwanese cuisine or looking to try something new, this booth won't disappoint. The freshness of the ingredients really shines through, and it's clear the vendors take pride in their craft. It's a delightful find that adds diversity to the market's offerings.

They were polite, but 20 minutes for an egg crepe (dan bing) that I took one bite and threw away is not cool. It was so sweet and too much pork floss. Gross.

I've eaten here a few time and it's always good. I got the Shao bing this round, and it was good. It seemed a little flat. Peppers/hot sauce, or tomatoes, or picked onions would give it a zip. Every thing was well made and the staff were nice and quick with the order. The savory doughnut was delicious.

This is currently part of the Saturday market near downtown Vancouver. The portions were small and priced kind of high, but I guess that's common at farmers' markets? It's my first time coming here, so I'm not going to judge too much on that. You are given the prices on their menu, so you can choose to buy or not based on that alone. The wait time for the fan tuan is semi-long (we waited 20-25 minutes for ours), but that reflects the made-to-order nature of things.
The customer service was tricky to judge. I came with my friend, and the staff seemed to interact with my female friend more than me, even though I paid and tipped. Super strange. For example, I went to see if our fan tuan was ready by heading over to the cash register, and despite her seeing me, she grabbed the item and handed it to my friend on the other side of me. Not going to lie, I was a little irritated, but you do you, I guess. I'm not a long-term customer, so I guess it doesn't hurt you to do that.
Now on to the food. The fan tuan was okay, but if I had to describe it to someone who hasn't had it before, it's 70% tasty/30% bland. By this, I mean when you first take a bite, you might only taste the bland purple rice and its exterior. It's not until you start reaching the center that you'll experience all of its glory. I had chosen the pork variety, so your mileage may vary with the tofu variety.
The steamed bao was sweet and savory. It reminds me of a dish my mother makes, without the meat inside, however!
Parking: Parking is paid and there are a variety of options nearby. You can use the passport app or parking kitty depending on the lot you chose.
