So sad this place is closed!! We loved the dogs and fresh made fries. There was certainly room for this in Vancouver and were very sad to come for dinner tonight and see it closed!!! Why???

Every time I take my family here its full but not too full, and we dont have to wait very long, if at all, to be seated. The service is fantastic. The menu is simple and true to its name. The food is well prepared and bountiful. Drink specials are always on deck, and the game room is a fun interaction if you like games and want a moment of silence from your family.

Coney dogs were great, fries were perfect and crispy for me, bacon cheeseburger was classic no frills and delicious. Prices were very good for what we got. Nice restaurant but space is a little strange for the menu. I will definitely eat at Smittys again.

Disappointing. We decided to give this a shot because we had high hopes that Top Chef BJ Smith would have brought something original to your standard hot dog & burger joint. I've never been to Coney Island, but if this is a representation of that style of food and what he grew up on -Â then I feel sorry for him. We had a burger, veggie dog and fries. The burger was flavorless and bland. Veggie dog was just as bad. C'mon... give us some special toppings, seasoning or something that shows us that you're not just phoning it in. I expect more from BJ, but he must think the people of Vancouver don't care about flavor. I'm bumping up our review to 2-stars only because the manager came up to us and asked us how our meal was. He sat down, we spoke with him at length and told him what we thought of the food. He was very nice, listened and said he'd speak to BJ. Hopefully, he will and BJ will listen, but we won't be back...

Went in for a take out order. The waitress/cashier was not friendly at all, over charged me, and messed up my order on top of it. I ordered a Coney Dog with no mustard and a burger with American cheese. Got home to find mustard on the dog (Coney sauce tasted funky) and cheddar cheese on the burger. Don't think I'll be back! Roake's food and service is so much better!!!

Incredible f̶o̶o̶d̶ everything! Every plate had a certain attention to detail that was delightful. Professional service from the bartender. A killer Bloody Mary that hits the spot. Pinball and a classy skee ball arcade fits well in this neat space.

We LOVED Smokehouse and went there religiously. We then tried the new Coney place with an open mind. We figured that if they made such delicious food before, it's just a shift! But everything, I mean everything, was gross. Like, I am not a great cook, but could have made everything on that menu more successfully than it was presented to us. It is so sad. our response was "There is still time to change back! We would come!!" Because while it is a rather inexpensive meal now, we would never eat that food of our own volition. We had - Hot dogs, hamburgers and onion rings. I swear, everything was straight out of a can/package/bag. Sad.

This is hard. The people who work here are great!!! And that's why I'm giving it 5 stars! They were sweet, attentive and personable which is fantastic. However, the hot dogs are another thing. They're not very good, and it's not the person cookings fault. I want to make that clear. The onion rings are good, the fries are good, the hot dog, the bun it's just not good.

No where near as good as Smokehouse Provisions. We were expecting the best hot dogs ever and didn't find them. The only thing that was truly memorable was the pulled pork sandwich that hadn't changed from the Smokehouse days...

Look... This isn't some Fancy Schmancy place with overpriced small plates and culinary wonder. And THANK GOD it's not!! Sometimes you just want a Dank Bacon Cheeseburger and a tasty beer/cocktail and you don't wanna spend $82.50 to get there. My wife and I just went there. Sunday Happy Hour (All Day). 4 Cucumber Margaritas (2 Each) 1 app, 2 Cheeseburgers and Fries for $44.55 WHAT??!! And the Cheeseburgers were on point! So were the cocktails!! I mean the cocktails were AMAZING!!! We got to play Pin Ball machines while we waited for our food. We had such a GOOD experience. We will be back and you should give this place a try. A great addition to our community. Much better than Smokehouse!

My family took my dad here for early Father's Day lunch. He wanted to try it since he was a fan of Smokehouse, and it's the same owner. But it was disappointing. Service was slow, we had to request drink refills, a couple of the orders were not correct and they brought out our meals at different times. The Mac and cheese was good, but if it's a kids menu item I'd say leave the black pepper out of if. The two kiddos with us didn't like the pepper. French fries were good, but hot dogs were not hot when we got them. I think the concept is good, but a lot of improvements need to be made.

Got a hot dog, and a hamburger. Both were very greasy The fries were too salty as well. Had to run to the bathroom not 10 mins after I left and it was terrible.

Nice looking place. The kitchen and dining area are very clean. The staff was super nice. The wings and my Bloody Mary was excellent. I have to admit that my husband & I I were very underwhelmed by the Coney Island dog. The bun tasted sweet which was weird to me and it was way too small for the dog. But it was the only things that we tried and we will probably be back to try other menu items.

The double western burger is the best burger in town! You can sub onion rings instead of fries for no extra cost.

How can we get Smoke House Provisions back??!! I was so happy when Smoke House Provisions opened up. It felt like Portland was finally spilling over into Vancouver and we were getting some descent trendy spaces to eat and have a night out. I had high hopes for this place since I knew it was owned by the same owners as Smoke House Provisions and I like good hot dog Food: I had a hot dog and fries to go. If you like an all beef hot dog with a firm bite, don't go for this. This was a mushy mistery meat hot dog and fries were nothing special Atmosphere: I agree with other reviews saying that this place is going through an identity crisis. If you're going for a diner coney island feel, You need to go all in. I would have given this place one star but since I did not experience the service I decided to be nice. I did see comments about a long wait and it was quite confusing since these hot dog are boiled in a pot and not even grilled. So disappointed
