My recent visit to Starbucks was honestly disappointing from start to finish, and it made me question why this place is still as popular as it is. I understand that Starbucks gets extremely busy, but the level of service and quality I experienced felt far below what a well-known international coffee chain should offer.
First of all, the customer service was noticeably poor. When I walked in, several employees were behind the counter, but no one acknowledged me for quite a while. They seemed overwhelmed, confused, and uninterested in the customers waiting. When I finally placed my order, the barista barely made eye contact and acted as if I was interrupting her, which didn’t create a welcoming atmosphere at all.
The waiting time was another big issue. Even though I ordered a very simple drink, it took an unusually long time to get it. I understand delays when a place is busy, but what bothered me was that many customers who ordered after me somehow received their drinks first. It felt disorganized, like no one was paying attention to the order queue.
Unfortunately, the drink itself was the biggest disappointment. I ordered a latte, and it tasted nothing like what it should. It was lukewarm, watery, and had a strange bitter aftertaste. It almost felt like they rushed it or used old espresso. Starbucks is supposed to be consistent, but this drink was far from their usual standard. Even the foam on top was sloppy and uneven.
I also ordered a breakfast sandwich, and that didn’t go well either. It was slightly burnt on the edges, but still cold in the middle — clearly not heated properly. For the price Starbucks charges, I expected something at least edible, but I ended up throwing most of it away.
Cleanliness was another concern. The tables were dirty, the trash bins were overflowing, and the pickup counter had spilled coffee all over it. It didn’t seem like the staff had time — or motivation — to clean, even though it’s a basic part of running a café.
Overall, this Starbucks location left me extremely disappointed. Between the unfriendly service, long wait times, poor drink quality, and lack of cleanliness, the whole experience felt frustrating and unprofessional. With all the competition out there, Starbucks should be doing much better. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning to this location anytime soon.

Today the starbucks in target, Tuesday 9/16/2025 the morning shift, two young girls (i want to say one of the girls names started with an A like Alexis or something and had she/her pronouns) were rude and gave so much attitude. Purposely made drinks wrong. All because we asked what was the nuts on top of the pumpkin loaf and we had to google it and they didnt know. Because I am allergic. They expired the expresso shots, didnt pump enough pumpkin syrup, and didnt put oat milk. Even though I tipped. We didnt know until too late. We felt bad for taking a bit longer to Google the ingredients but tipped them in apology but they still treated us terrible. I didnt know if it was racism or homphobia, but it was poor customer service :(

I tried to redeem my stars for a free drink as I do when you earn enough, but the barista didn't know how. It was very frustrating, so I didn't order anything.
Tried their online ordering for the first time. Worked very well!
$8 for the sandwich pictured. Turkey covering all of 1/2 of it maybe

So I went in the other day and I ordered my favorite drink from Starbucks. It was a long line, but this girl who was alone took orders super quickly, made drinks fast, and was also very kind—great customer service. Amazing vanilla bean frap.

I don’t know the lady’s name who was working on 02/29. It was very busy and she was working alone. She was very polite and got everyone’s orders done super quick. I felt bad for her though because it didn’t seem to be slowing down at all. Thank you so much
just ordered here for the first time. wasn’t aware that this location doesn’t accept the 50 stars for a free pastry.. so when i mentioned it to the lady she told me they didn’t offer that so i didn’t argue just asked if she could remove the pastry instead.. the lady then proceeds to kinda ask me in a rude manner “you want me to take it off?..”the drink is ok.. i asked for almond milk instead and somehow they managed to make the drink extremely runny, doesn’t even seem like a frappucino (i got a mocha cookie crumble) and on top of that there was like an inch of emptiness at the top of my cup.update: throwing the drink out.. doesn’t even taste like coffee just tastes like i paid for straight up almond milk. what a joke. im sorry, but ive also worked in the food / service industry and this isn’t up to par
Please learn how to make the cold brew/salted caramel foam properly. It should be salty & layered. If it blends, might as well be a latte.🤨
My cup in NOT full. Sucks
The service was excellent. They made sure they received the right order and the right persons' name. The frappucinos here are great!
