Got interrogated over a cup of water after purchasing a coffee. Clerk wanted to know if i bought something. I got mad flipped them off and was told the cops are on the way. This is the new starbucks corp attitude towards the public. Its just coffee your not special.

This Starbucks is right off of the highway, next to a grocery store, and sees a lot of traffic all day long. Yet the baristas are ALWAYS on top of things and keeping the pace quick and efficient! Even when there's plenty of people behind the counter, you can always pinpoint someone who is designated to clean and keep the store welcoming for customers. I can't think of many other places that keep cleanliness a top priority all day long. The new policy on refills and for-here cups was implemented at this store, and it's as if they've done this all along. I never see used cups piled up, and the condiment bar is ALWAYS stocked and clean. Near perfection!
The baristas are friendly and try to have conversations with customers, and genuinely show that they're interested. Even if a conversation gets a bit lengthy, there are other baristas who are quick to jump in to help the next customer and keep things moving so that customers don't get cut off during conversation. I feel appreciated as a customer and will absolutely make this store part of my normal routine.
Not to mention, the drinks are great!! These baristas know their stuff!
Vegetarian options: The new falafel is great! Egg bites, sandwiches, and oatmeal options too!

I’m writing this review to highlight a troubling pattern of behavior at this Starbucks location, which aligns with experiences I’ve had at others. While I initially chose this spot to escape issues at nearby locations, I quickly realized that the most convenient Starbucks is not always the best choice for safeguarding your sanity.
At first, I had a normal experience—one where I even befriended another customer through polite conversation. But what followed was unacceptable. Despite always being a paying customer, I found myself subjected to harassment and mistreatment designed to frustrate or irritate me. My intention was to use the Starbucks café as a productive space, a place that respects patronage. Instead, my consumer habits were exploited, and I was met with blatant disregard.
One employee, in particular, fixated on how I ate a bagel while outside on a call. My hands were full, I needed the carbs to push through the moment, and I wasn’t concerned with how it looked. That should have been the end of it. Instead, it became a recurring topic of conversation, clearly intended to embarrass me—continuing even eight months later.
But the mistreatment didn’t stop there. On another visit, I witnessed a barista dumping a trash receptacle full of bleach water onto the ground, deliberately avoiding the grass—only to pour it directly where I was standing. Why? Because I had stepped outside to feed the crows. Before this, I had already suffered a serious issue when a foreign object in my bagel pierced my tongue.
These are not isolated incidents. They point to a larger issue of consumer mistreatment at this location. No appropriate response has been made despite the severity of these experiences, leaving me no choice but to bring this into the daylight. Customers deserve better. Consider this a warning to think twice before making this Starbucks part of your routine.

I was there for the last two weeks in a row for business I own an automotive business and the service and the food were phenomenal. I don’t say phenomenal very much but phenomenal tends to be very, very good. I will be visiting there in days to come thank you barista staff, and management for doing a hard work and a job well done.

As you know in Washington, they start putting the condiment bar back in a lot of the stores in Oregon not a chance, but it’ll reach down to Oregon and hopefully in a couple months

Nice people, but if you have PTSD, you might want to avoid staying in here for very long. The unexpected explosions of clinging and banging trigger me. Seriously seriously how Fong loud can a cash register be???
Love this location & the baristas are fantastic! They know my order and welcome me like Norm on Cheers! ?.

Two Starbucks locations in Hazel Dell both had dessicants inappropriately present and seeming used a deterrent to make customers feel uncomfortable or to directly cause irritation. This is a pattern of behavior that's absolutely unacceptable. If you feel that way about members of the public, stay home.
I live right by an am/pm. Drink a lot of pop too. Some of their hot foods are really good as wekk

Incredibly rude employees that take I simple question personally. I was just there, and after waiting over five minuts for my food order, politely asked (while holding a screaming toddler with special needs) how much longer the wait would be. The female lead, who was not wearing a nametag so I cannot say her name, scolded me for the question. Apperently over five minutes is the average wait time at this location and I was out of line for even wondering. I tried to explain that my toddler functions better if I can tell him how long something is going to take and she said that they're working very hard and it would be ready when it's ready. This is extrememly non-inclusive for children with different needs, and borderline sexist/mysandrist as I find it hard to believe that the lady behind the counter would have treated a mother with a screaming child the way.
I would provide an order number but I was not given a receipt. Based on the huge tail of receipts coming out of their register it appears that nobody gets a receipt at this location. I suppose it does make it harder to rightfuly complain later and after my treatment I'm almost sure it's intentional.
The takeaway here is that this location takes over five minutes regularly for food orders and fathers with their children are not welcome. This type of behavior should not be tolerated in 2024 and I hope the employees are talked to about this incident. I will certainly not be back after this, but I leave this review in hope the employees are retrained and other people do not have to go through this experience as well.

The worst customer service. Selective with whom they decide to act "friendly" with.
