This was my first time trying Steak Your Claim. I was a little taken back by the prices, but as I sit here with a full stomach, I think it was worth it! I got an 8" Broad St. Bully. It was a touch on the salty side, but I chalk that up to my selection of cheese whiz vs a real cheese. At every other cheesesteak place I've visited, an 8" wouldn't be enough. Not the case here. Things cost more these days. I think the quality and quantity of food matches their pricing. I can't wait to try more!

This place reopened and I don't recall it being so expensive. $14 for a 6" Philly? The sandwiches are good but mine was also VERY salty.sandwich, fries and can of beer was $30.I'll just eat at home for that.

We were really looking forward to trying this new sandwich shop. But we just couldn't bring ourselves to pay $28 for a foot long Philly cheese steak. Check out my profile for more great eateries and craft cocktail bars. ✌?

Went to get a cheese steak on national cheese steak day. March 24th. I got the 16” broad st. bully. It was WAY over salted. And expensive. A 16” sub is 27 and small fry was $7. I won’t be finishing the other half. I also threw the stamp card in the trash

Does the photo look good? It should…I made it myself…at home…because this place is never open. Grand reopening? Posted hours on the door? Cool…still closed at 6:30 when the door says open until 8, no one inside, no note, nothing. The phone number listed on Google isn’t even for this restaurant, it’s for some poor woman named Deborah who has to answer all their calls. This place honestly doesn’t care if it stays in business. Just go buy some thin sliced London broil, a bag of Hawaiian rolls, and some cheez whiz to make your own. Sauté some onions and mushrooms, too, if you’d like. Way cheaper and your kitchen is guaranteed to be open.

what happened to this place?? just closed a couple months after it opened.
Very good food, but the location on 164th Ave is temporarily closed (and has been for a while). I hope they are able to reopen!

Sorely disappointed. Meat was overcooked - EXTREMELY Dry and way too much salt. I have had incredibly delicious from elsewhere & was hoping to find a decent one - outside of Philly. Every restaurant can have an off night & I was hoping this may have been the case for STEAL YOUR CLAIM. I even sent an email to the restaurant letting them know of my experience. No, I wasn't looking for a free meal. I wanted them to know, because... how can they know & correct the issue if they aren't aware. I never did get a reply, but nor will I return. I can make better at home.

Went there today at 1:45pm and there was a sign on the door that said temporarily closed.
