Luv it
I ordered from DoorDash and the food that arrived looked incredible and tasted incredible, and was very obviously fresh (piping hot and crunchy). Most stores put little effort into their delivery orders but it was obvious this store takes care of all of its customers, and I will definitely be returning here. You guys rock!
Best sushi in vancouver wa.
I love this sushi place, it’s been one of our favorites for years! The service has been great until today. This female waiter had a very bad attitude. When I asked her name she refused to tell me and proceeded being very rude, responding “you don’t need to know my name” Its very sad seeing customer service come down this low. Not sure I will be coming back here, it’s not worth my money to be treated this way.
Food is great, customer service could be better.
Edit-- We went there tonight, the Sushi Makers acknowledged us but the waitstaff ignored us for awhile after we walked in, they weren't busy. We were seated but they never asked us if we needed anything, so after another couple tables came in got seated and helped we got up and left, never to return. We went down the street to Yi Sushi and got wonderful help and great food, and they were busy.
I order takeout sushi for two people every week. I love this sushi, but they never give enough soy sauce, wasabi, etc. I always ask if everything is in the bag, and they say yes, but when I open it at home, again and again, there are only 2-4 small packets. My advice: if the order costs more than $35, please put more in the bag. And again, I love this sushi and would still give 5 stars.
I come here really (really) often because I go to school at WSU down the street. My favorite thing in the world is nigiri and the fish here is so fresh and generously cut, with just the right amount of rice. It's got windows all around to let in plenty of light and the employees are quick and efficient. I also love spicy tuna and salmon rolls, which are also great here. The tea is always good, too, I think it might have roasted rice in the blend which is delicious. I'm kind of sad I'm about to graduate because it means I'll have to drive across town to get my fix now.
Very little variety. We waited an hour hoping they would add more to the belt and it was the same 4 rolls going around. There were only 8 items total on the belt - 4 rolls, something fried, edamame, the mousse cake, and sesame balls... The whole point of a conveyor belt sushi is to have lots of smaller options. If i only wanted 4 types of rolls id just go to a traditional sushi place. The rolls all had the same items too so there wasnt even variety there. No one refilled our waters either in that whole hour. We only had 3 plates each because there were really no options on the belt and no one ever talked to us so we could even order anything. Overall it was a pretty boring/basic experience and not one I would recommend to anyone. There are plenty of other sushi belts within 10 minutes of here that actually offer food.
never on time with to go order's
The place is nice and pretty clean, but the food was very disappointing. None of it was really bad, mostly just flavorless. The miso had no flavor. Even though the place was busy, the sushi tasted like it had been sitting out for hours. Service was almost nonexistent. If you go during a slow period and have everything made to order, it might be okay, but I will not be back.

Can't wait to come in for happy hour.
The food was pretty good and fresh but there wasn't a lot of variety that was going around on the belt. It's an interesting way to serve it just would have been nice to see more then just a couple of items from each section. Cause each section had about 8-10 different items according to price but there. Was only 3 -4 things from each price range if any fromt he higher price ones which really wasn't that high in price. It ranged from $2.00 up to $8 I think for each plate that went by. Some of the things that were higher in price seemed like they were punched a little smaller compared to the items that were cheaper. All in all it wasn't a bad place, the atmosphere was friendly
Emily the owner helped coordinate an amazing sushi assortment for our wedding. Our order was done in a timely manner. Amazing service and guests were so happy!
