Extensive beer and cider list with LCD displays showing clear prices and pour sizes. The 16 oz beer pours are priced higher than others nearby. Cider pours seem smaller. Food menu is average, mostly bar food. The number of pizzas was confusing given the pizza business next door. Why compete instead of collaborate? We are still exploring taprooms in east Vancouver.
Taps is a really relaxed and inviting place to enjoy a beer and chat with others. The staff as well as customers are down to earth and make the stop in an enjoyable experience. Pretzel bites with beer cheese is a new favorite.
Bartender was very knowlegable about his craft. I wanted to try different beers and he kept them all in same group/type that I order. Usually bars are like "you like a hoppy beer, here try a long island ice tea". So that was pretty cool.
