I got a mighty bowl to-go and got it veganized. I got it with the default sauce and it was really good! Comparing it to Cafe Yumm, it has more of a curry flavor which is nice. I really liked the vegan sour cream and was surprised that it was an option. When I order it again, I will probably add vegan soy curls.

Mighty bowl is delicious and they are in a great spot. I just wish the portion sizes haven't shrunk so much in tandem with price increases in the last few months!

Kind of like a Qdoba or Chipotle on steroids to give you an idea, but obviously much better. Lots of vegan options to choose from for your bowls, burritos or wraps. Also has a great grab n go section. Smoothie was perfect, and they also have cookies from a local vegan baker. Great staff and atmosphere. Would reccomend. There's not many vegan options as it is, so this is a great spot.

We used to love this place. We grabbed bowls once a week, but the last 3 times we've been our bowls have been so over salted we could not finish them :(

Fresh! I ordered the mighty bowl. Rice, beans, olives, salsa and cheddar cheese. I added onions ( at no charge) I had to leave off the sour cream, avocado and special sauce ( they all had an allergens ) #allergygirl. Served at room temperature so don't expect hot food. But it was yummy! I added an acai bowl for a perfect meal! I asked for no banana base or bandanna slices #allergygirl.

The food is great. The evergreen bowl and uptown smoothie is awesome. The customer “service” is pretty typical “disinterested, you’re bothering me” hipster attitude.
I mean, I like this place and all, but I just can’t justify the service fees from their third-party ordering service, small portions, and receiving poor service on top of that.
You try to order thru Google maps (via chow now) and the bowls are $2 more than listed on their website. And, even though it specifically says “No service fee”, one gets tacked on when you try to check out… you can save a couple bucks by ordering thru their website, which still goes thru chownow.
The main reason I’ll not go back though is when I called to place an order, they told me they don’t accept phone orders anymore. Why answer the phone then?
As a restaurant owner myself, I detest all these third party apps and “convenience” fees. It’s not a convenience for me, its a convenience for the restaurant, which means the restaurant should be the one to pay for that convenience, not the customer.
Furthermore, I know all to well about the rising costs of food, especially proteins. I also know those costs have to get passed on to the customer. But I’ll be honest, I just don’t see the value in paying $18.51 (not including tip) for a little bowl of rice and protein…
Sorry folks. It’s just not there, especially with the lack of customer service.
*This review is over 3yrs old at this point. Not sure why the owner wants to aggressively respond now, 3yrs later, to tell me how they don’t use ChowNow anymore and how everything I’ve shared was untrue. Great. Heard. Way to really listen to your customers, Steve.
Maybe you should have reached out 3yrs ago when I posted this, Steve? It apparently wasn’t worth your time then, and this isn’t really worth my time now. I haven’t been back since I posted this, and I am not interested in being bought off with 3 over priced rice bowls served up by folks with such a poor understanding of customer service. Thanks but no thanks.

Ordered a Mighty Bowl with chicken for lunch. The ingredients were fresh and flavorful and the chicken was well seasoned and delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Ordered here and only received half our order they forgot the other half. Wasted all morning only to get nothing. They need to answer their phones. But I will never order for my office of 12 or myself ever again. Thanks for nothing.

Vegetarian options: This place almost feels catered to the vegan/vegetarian crowd! They offer some meat/animal products, but it definitely feels geared toward plant-based food.
