I've been going here for a while (but usually just happy hour at the bar which is fantastic) but tonight was the first time we ate in the main restaurant and it was wonderful. There was live music and the food was really delicious. I'd like to make a special shout-out to Malcolm for taking great care of us and making our meal very friendly and fun. It was a really fun night and will definitely be back to check out the rest of the main dinner menu!
Killer brunch spot. Plenty of space and very accommodating for large parties. The staff is attentive but not obnoxious, and super friendly. Recommended!
Let me just start by saying how amazing this place is!!
This restaraunt has always been five stars in terms of food quality, flavor and service. But I'm going out of my way when I'm tired and worn out to give a review because they saved my night. Went to a different restaraunt first and almost went into hypoglycemic shock (seriously) waiting almost an hour and NOBODY asked me what I wanted. So, starving, I went to Tommy O's, where the waitress served me immediately, asked me what I wanted very quickly, and gave me the food very quickly as well. She was awesome. And she hadn't seen me come in there for over a year and recognized me. Love this place. If they hadn't served me I might have fainted in downtown Vancouver in the cold at night. I get shaky if I don't get protein for too long and my fridge was empty so these guys actually saved my night.
I don't know why my original rating was four stars. I have been there so many many times and have never had a bad experience. Always good food and friendly staff.
Awesome dinner tonight! We had the special scallops with garlic mashed potatoes, grilled onions and special sauce (light).Delicious! Also had the calamari & California rolls. (Also very good). The owner came by to check on our
This is the second time in two months we have ordered to go for lunch. The last time was an employee appreciation day and we decided to order from Tommy O's. We had six orders. I love the taco's here and it was my recommendation. My food was great, but I did have to go back because we were overcharged. Then when my manager opened his box, it was nothing he ordered. Instead of going back again he just ate the food. Not too happy though. Of course it was not the restaurants fault as the person was new (that was the excuse). Now giving them a second chance (manager was not thrilled with our suggestion of Tommy O's), we ordered tacos again. Only two orders of two tacos and the side of black beans. We asked about the coupons and she said we could use both or each of us would have just ordered separately. My co worker called back as the price of the order did not sound right. She verified there were to be a total of 4 cooked tacos. The not so bright person stated that was the order. Of course when my manager went to pick it up, it was wrong as there was four orders of tacos and he could only use one coupon. He came back empty handed. I called and spoke to Pat. Of course, it was our fault and she was not helpful. We will not be eating there today or in the future. Sad because the food is great. They lost our business. By the way, I am NOT Pat's "baby"!
Tommy O's is a nice local place that has some very inviting and interesting Pacific style food. The service is good and the atmosphere is good. A good place to go for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and drinks. Not to mention live music on certain nights of the week too.
The food and drinks were delicious. We got a beer and a mixed drink and sushi. The mixed drink was a perfect blend of tart and sweet (I hate when places make mixed drinks too sweet). The sushi was warm, fresh and flavorful. The atmosphere was Hawaiian themed and felt appropriately relaxed. I will definitely be returning.
We had heard that Tommy O's would make us feel like we were back in Hawaii and they were right. Very authentic Hawaiian food. Service was great and the food was outstanding!

Great Buddha bowl and very efficient, friendly service. Look forward to going back as it is an easy off and on the freeway.
Fun menu with lots of options for gluten free far, except my wife still had a gluten reaction as if she'd eaten something with gluten in it. Normally she doesn't have quite that strong a reaction so not sure. My food was great, good pork, good burger and tasty sushi. Good service too.
The service here is amazing! Malcom was prompt, polite and really on it. The food was healthy and delicious tasting. Highly recommended!
Great small niche, with a cute couple singing tonight. Very fun and delicious
Went for happy hour. Food was good and well priced. The house mango margarita was too tart. Service was great.
