Unfortunately very forgettable Pho with some major misteps
I order a combination bowl that had almost all fatty brisket and one piece of round steak and no flank or regular brisket.
The meat was cut twice as thick as fatty brisket would be such that the fat never softened nor enhanced the flavor of the soup. I'll spare you the photo of the pile of uneaten pieces of fat because one pieces was impossible to chew through and I spat it out. White onion was cut thicker than I've come to expect at other Vietnamese joints.
Flavor of the soup itself was fine I guess. Pretty basic and I don't know which aromatics it was missing but it was lacking something.
At a minimum, the meat needs to be cut thinner so it gets properly cooked and the fat renders
Portion size was also weirdly small for a restaurant that got rid of the ability to buy a small sized portion. I don't think this was their large size before because this bowl is tiny and I can count how much meat was in it because all but one piece was fatty brisket and it was like 8 slices and not particularly large ones either.
Pho Ton and Pho Green Papaya are both superior for local fare as well as the place near target and the bus station

Had a bahn mi and egg rolls. They weren’t awful, but they weren’t good. It was also too expensive. If you want a bahn mi, you’ll probably have better luck somewhere else.

The Pho was so delicious! The broth was hearty and fresh. The salad roll and fried wings were also so tasty amd fresh.
Got takeout dinner for six. Ordered ahead for 3 pm pickup. Each item was labeled.

Stopped in for a bowl of pho and was not disappointed. The broth was rich and flavorful without being too salty, and the noodles had that perfect chewy texture. Fresh herbs, lime, and bean sprouts were plentiful, which really brightened up the bowl. Portions were generous and the service was quick and friendly.
