Voodoo Doughnut

Not a place I'd hang out but I love swinging by for a vegan donut. I am in love with the vegan apple fritter. It's my fave but all the vegan options are so good. I do however wish the seasonal donuts were also made vegan.

Torn experience. Love its open later (we stopped in around 8pm). Same reliable selection and easy parking. We ordered half a dozen and they forgot my favorite (maple bar) so we drove all the way home with 5 of our 6 paid for donuts. The captain crunch donut my daughter ordered was crazy stale. The old fashioned was good and the gingerbread doll gave at least a bit of the maple feel with more spice. For the higher prices of donuts, would expect to have fresh and correct orders.

Ever see the movie 3 Amigos? Remember the bar scene when they are served a drink "Its and odd taste isn't it?" Wow, these may be some of the worst I have ever tasted. The generic kind at your bodega/gas station are better. I tried their Churro which tastes like cardboard and is nothing even close to a churro. This is just a tourist trap with a fancy name and crazy looking menu items but they taste absolutely horrid. Cheap tequila tastes better!

The employees at this location are always kind and attentive, and I appreciate their commitment for genuine interactions. Donuts are good quality and always taste good, definitely on the pricier side — but I’d argue you get what you pay for. Vegan options are also well appreciated and make this an easy spot to go to for a sweet treat.

Really enjoyed this Voodoo Donut shop. Bailey and Rebecca did amazing work with our donuts! My bf and I got a mix of donuts and ended up getting the Cok-n-balls as well. Bailey suggested we decorate the piece and Rebecca, as the donut stylist, was going to do the honors. This got me all giddy and excited. Rebecca, you did fabulous work. (Check photo for proof). Thank you very much for the suggestion and the stuffed donuts 😉
Another thing I wanted to add is that, I’m a big donut fan, and I usually go for the classic glazed donuts ato check the talent. I tried on from here and man was this good. The flavor and gooyness of the donut hit the spot. Thank you again gals!

Oooooffff, what an absolute let down, made even more disappointing considering Voodoo is usually a rare treat on the off occasion I'm anywhere near a location. 😢

I know someone will probably come tell me the donuts are made fresh daily, but there was absolutely no way the three donuts I got were fresh.

The donuts were bordering on dry and had begun to have that crunchy old dough texture. The frosting on all of them was hard and crumbled into crunchy crumbs which quickly became frosting dust on my clothes.

Chap at the counter was super friendly and the place was clean.

This location has restored my faith back into voodoo donuts. Emma was very kind, and the donuts were perfectly fresh and full of flavor. Good customer service goes a very long way. Now I can fall back in love with voodoo ❤️

We walked in just before close, and were looking over at the menu when a worker walked up to us and literally told us to hurry up. She said, “can you guys hurry up… we’re closed”
Very, very rude. Zero customer service.
