I was in here very briefly for a quick ichi roll today and it was great! It was just me coming at a slow time so they sat me very quickly. I got my roll very quickly too!
I decided on the ichi roll, and it is the best I’ve had! I didn’t get the peanuts on top, but it was so good I didn’t even ask about it being missing. They were very kind and I’m sure if I brought it up to them they would have provided it.

I’m sorry to have to leave this review. First, the sushi is good, and the meal service was respectable. I came to sit at a table, eat, and work on my laptop. I’ve done this before, at Wagaya. After I was done eating and, I worked for hour, paid, and worked for another. Then they asked me to leave. I asked why, and they said because I had been there for five hours. At that point it had been four. I had been sitting quietly in the corner with headphones on, at an undesirable table near the kitchen. They didn’t close for another 90 minutes. Out of nine tables, there were guests at only four, including myself. I ordered almost $50 of food by myself. I asked if I could move to another table, they said no. I asked again, “just to be clear, you don’t want me here and I need to leave?” They said yes.

Took my family here last week for the first time. Best sushi I've had since moving to Vancouver. Wait staff was incredibly cheerful and friendly, service was fast, the sushi was fresh and delicious, and it was more affordable than other places that have lower quality. Highly recommend! It's also super cute inside!

This sushi is seriously not good. The fish tasted old and stale. I would highly suggest you look for dinner elsewhere.

We are here for lunch a few weeks ago and I forgot to write a review until I saw a write up today about a new Japanese place on the waterfront. This spot on the Eastside delivered a quality sushi experience for all three of us. We had several rolls (some of the pricier ones 13/14) but all had 8 pieces and the quality was top notch. We only tried the sushi but the special rolls w scallops and another one topped w unagi were our favorites. We will be back.

This is my husband, brother, and my favorite sushi spot! Been here many times and have gotten take out once or twice. Service is friendly and food is delicious! I love their edemame, Vegas roll, and Tiger roll. Oo and their Thai tea is SO GOOD!
Parking: Never had a problem with parking. Usually am able to get a pretty close spot.

Nice stop for sushi and not very busy. Great to get a quick meal with great service. Sashimi wasn't our favorite here, but everything else was good.

Wagya is the BEST sushi place in Vancouver. We've tried literally every other sushi joint in the area as far north as Battleground, but we will ALWAYS come back to Wagya! The sashimi is consistently fresh and delicious. The rolls are perfectly portioned. The Thai tea is always a hit! The vegetable tempura is so good with their in-house dipping sauce and you get a huge basket of veggies. The salmon kama is also great. We're never disappointed. The staff are so wonderful and keep the place clean and decorated. You can even order from them on a delivery app and it will still be fresh!
