I visited WildFin on the Vancouver Waterfront yesterday, and it was a fantastic experience. I ordered the peppercorn steak, which was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection—definitely something I'd highly recommend. My friend had the parmesan-crusted fish and couldn't stop raving about how wonderful it tasted. The portions were generous, and the drinks from the bar had a nice, generous pour. Overall, we experienced great service and a lovely evening. I'd definitely come back!

Everything was good except my surf and turf meal could've been presented better and a little more amount of food, the waitress was great

The food was very good, but a little on the expensive side for what you get. Plates really need more vegetables, to make a complete meal. The portion size was just right. I think we either had a new waiter or ...., our service was VERY slow. This really wasn't much of an issue since we were just on a date night, but we were there almost 2.5 hrs for a table of two. We watched a table of 7 or 8 come I after us and leave well before us. The manager recognized this and offered to buy us dessert. Overall the evening was very good and the quality of the food was good. I will recommend the restaurant and I will be trying the place again in the future.

I wanted to like this place more than I did, especially because I've been here previously, and it was pretty good . The atmosphere was pleasant enough, but the service felt off from the start. Our waiter seemed overwhelmed and rushed throughout our meal—not rude, just clearly stressed. He didn't mention any specials until I specifically asked, which made me wonder what else we might have been missing. I also asked him to help me choose between the special and a miso cod and it wasn't until then that he said, “well you better choose the special because we're out of the cod.” he did the same thing when I tried to talk to him about his wine list. He was very enthusiastic about the wine. I questioned a Chardonnay that I had never heard of before and he just said “it's good” When he did tell us about the specials, he recommended a tuna dish that he described as being seared and somewhat rare in the center. That sounded great, so I ordered it. Unfortunately, what arrived was quite overcooked—no pink center at all—and surprisingly bland. For a dish that was highlighted as a special, it really fell flat, and it ran around $36. I get that restaurants have off nights and staff can get slammed, but the combination of inattentive service and a poorly executed special left me feeling disappointed. The restaurant itself seems like it has potential, but the execution just wasn't there during our visit. It was not a busy night, either. It more seemed like they just overworked the staff.

We went on a Sunday evening at 6:15pm. They were out of 5 different menu items. Portions are small. Service was good.

Reina was our server. She was excellent. We had reservations for 10 with 2 babies as well as seniors who were hearing impaired. She helped everyone with excellent communication and service. We had a great time. Food was wonderful!

My wife and I had such a wonderful experience at Wildfin, as we always do. We are consistently impressed with the excellent service, the amazing food (taste and presentation are always completely on point), and the care the team takes in making sure we are enjoying our evening. You have solidified yourselves as our go to date night dinner spot. Thank you for creating such an awesome place.

We are always pleased with the service and excellent food at the Vancouver location. We enjoy the view of the river and the atmosphere surrounding this restaurant. We come regularly to the Vancouver Wild Fin, and will continue to do so.

I made a reservation for 6:45, spoke to a hostess that called who informed me there would be a large group of 30 arriving at 6:30 and to make sure we were still interested. I said yes, we can get there earlier, which we did show up at 6:15. We ended up being rebooked to 7pm due to the chef not being able to accommodate us until then. We ended up with poor choices on the menu due to options being sold out (6 dishes sold out- 4 appetizers and 2 entrees), along with menu choices changed prior (no more King Salmon- Steelhead has replaced it going forward) and a non- updated menu, then served dinner an hour and a half after our arrival due to the large party not deciding until after 7pm. Once we received our food, the dishes were tasty. Felt like we could have been accommodated prior to the large group, seeing how our group of 7 mostly comprized of children whom we knew what they were ordering already. Poor hospitality from kitchen side, service side was great 👍

Our dining experience was good. Restaurant and location were great. Customer service was amazing. Our server was very polite, professional and attentive. He made sure we had everything we need for the duration of our dinner. The only issue we had was with the surf and turf. The food was delicious but for the price that you charge for that specific item, the size of the steak could have been a little bit more sufficient. It was so tiny that it became the funny topic at the table. The shrimp scampi pasta could use more flavor. Other than that, everything was fine. The appetizer tower I highly recommend. Thank you for accommodating us.

It was an wonderful evening of fine food. Requested a table by the window and got it! The best place to go for seafood in the Vancouver area.
