We were running out of places to try for dinner, so we stopped by at Camp Colvos. We ordered two chicken pasties and a cider. We were pleasantly surprised by the 'clean' tasting pasties with tender and chunky pieces of chicken, carrots, and mushrooms. The pastry was flaky but not greasy. Unlike the traditional pastie, it did not have a knob at the end for holding on to, and in any case, it was too hot to hold. I'm wondering if they have a really hot oven or they...
Was visiting Vashon and wanted to stop for lunch and happened upon this place after having an unpleasant experience at the burger joint down the street. Ordered the meatball sub, sausage and pretzel bites, and the Dragon’s Head cider. Everything was delicious and service was friendly! I do wish they had a larger variety of food, but what they have, they do well!

We randomly stopped in after a zoo trip and it was the best part of the day. Even after a miscommunication on our order. and had to wait for a pizza to be made, it was PHENOMENAL. Pizza, amazing. Meatball sandwich, amazing. Service and beer, amazing.
We live in Lake Stevens, and I would drive all the way down here to try it again.
