What a nice place! Serene, peaceful, relaxing and in a park-like setting. After learning about how much work is involved in making cider vs wine, we appreciated every sip of the cider especially the“Kingston Black Cider,” which was recommended by a local person we met during a day trip to Vashon Island. The cider was absolutely delicious and the experience very lovely!

Absolutely the Top Tier, Crème de la crème, BEST Cidery in all of WA State, maybe even the world. There isn't a cider from Dragonshead I've tried yet that I haven't wanted to drink the whole bottle to myself.If you're local or visiting, you HAVE to take a little day trip to the orchard's tasting room, wander the fields, swing in the hammocks, love on visiting dogs and watch the bullfrogs jumping in the pond. It's seriously, so lovely, There's also a new tasting room in town that serves food!The owner, Laura, is the sweetest human and is the kind of person who tracked down local distributors near me so I could purchase my favorite "Celebration" Cider for NYE, sparkling perry. We pop this for our wedding anniversary, New Years, and personal achievements. I'll be soo sad to ever move away from this place! Love Dragons head!

The cider here is exquisite and fairly priced. They have a wide variety of ciders made from apples and pears. They don't use any additional sugar or flavorings, so the cider has a pure, dry taste. That said, they are really complex due to the varietals of apples or the fermenting process the brewers use. We did a flight of 5 2-oz pours for $12. You do the flight in an outdoor area with picnic tables, a pond, and hammocks. It's a tranquil setting, and you can even walk around the orchard. You can also buy glasses and bottles. There is plenty of parking nearby, and it's easy to find on the map. No food here for sale except for some packaged snacks.

Dragon’s Head Cider has a huge outdoor tasting area. I’m not usually a cider drinker, but everything I tried was delicious! They have a few different tasting flights, or you can sip on a glass or get a bottle. Plenty of picnic tables and chairs to lounge in. I’ll definitely be back next time I visit Vashon!

Wonderful cidery on Vashon Island. Most of the ciders are on the dry side, but not overly so.The flights are done outside at picnic tables, so if it's a beautiful day such as today, perfect!If they have it, try the Pommeau, a brandy and cider mix. Truly delightful!The staff know when to give you the next pour of cider and aren't pushy at all with the sales.

The tasting is a great price at 12$ and you can keep the glass. They have a nice shady outside seating area with a view of the orchards. Very nice staff too!
