The Sandpiper Cafe is one of the best kept secrets on the island! The salads and sandwiches are wonderful. I loved the cashew chicken sandwich. The fish and chips are truly, honestly, really the very best on Vashon! The outdoor patio is covered and very comfortable with padded seats and water and condiments available. When the weather is good, the food and views there cannot be beat, anywhere on the island. Should it be too chilly or wet, dine inside. Ordering is done at the counter where a full bar is available. Food is then delivered to your table whether it's inside or out.

While, sitting on the patio enjoying our drinks overlooking the golf course made everything taste even better.
The viewing was stunning, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the whole experience unforgettable.

Clearly someone was shedding in the kitchen. Really disappointed, food did look yummy.š„¹ And I REALLY wanted coconut shrimp Fries were tasy. Biscuits and gravy looked yummy

Its hard to find due to no signs and its in the golf course especially if its your first time on the island. No service ordered with young lady at the register. Set on the patio so atmosphere is looking at the golf course. Took this long ferry ride and drive to have their coconut shrimp of corse they where out had the cod and fries both where terribly over cooked. Cole slaw is actually more to Asian Slaw isn't my taste.
We went twice for breakfast at this cafe during our 3 day stay in Juneau. We had the same waiter both times. Be aware that portions are large. First time, I ordered the lox and bagel and the 2nd time the quiche. I very much enjoyed the quiche because it was served with a generous serving of fruits. Great spot.

Good food and service, great view of the greens. When we found that one had to order at the window, find the table and then food would be brought out we feared the worst. It ended up being a really good meal, generous portions, reasonable pricing, and great atmosphere. Mimosa was on the small side (kid portion) but still a great place to come back.
