We always love the food at the sandpiper. Last Thurs 3 of us had the coconut shrimp and all of them were way over cooked, it was disappointing. The coconut shrimp has always been terrific! Also we love their coleslaw but not this time, no flavor and felt that it was a different recipe

Burgers are great. Fried stuff is not crispy and the oil used for deep frying tasted a bit oldThere is no wait staff which is a major pain. You have to stand in line and order. But once the order is in delivery was quick. Martini was watery. Beer was fine.

Coconut shrimp was delicious. Ate on a raised deck with great surrounding views, ample shade. Friendly staff made us feel at home.

Tried eating here twice for to go orders while working out in Dockton. Both times put on hold for 5-6 mins before I hung up. I want to like your $10 cheese burger so much! Your the only option for to go food on this part of the island. Completely understandable if I'm going to have a long wait time but I'd like to be told that prior to being on hold plus not being muted and hearing all the interactions going on (there was time to take my order in my opinion(not a fact only an opinon)). I'm open to my mind being changed about this place but the chances I'll give it are limited because of so many failed.
