I like when food is so simple and brilliant at the same time. I took the meatballs lemon and garlic, and everything in this plate was perfectly dosed. I had a really expérience in this restaurant I warmly recommend.

Perfect 5/5.
We were here for brunch and the food was too good.
Loved the menu and the dishes.
Biscuits and Mushroom gravy was the best brunch dish we had in a while.
Would recommend this place to anyone who is on a day trip to vashon and want to eat at a decent place.

This place is life affirming. You show up however you are and they meet it and leave you feeling warm and full. The service is spot on, they partner with you in your choices, never cloying, it’s not about them. Cocktails are first class, food is awesome. Everything about Ruby Brink is heartfelt. Just a winner.

Come for the Sunday brunch, and make sure to grab a sausage egg sandwich with a side of hot sauce. It’s a transformative experience.

Got a ham and cheese there. Took 25mins for the sandwich to arrive.
22 dollars for a ham and cheese sandwich with chips. Shoulda went to subway instead. Atmosphere is good though.

We ordered soups and cold sandwiches to go. It took almost 45 minutes. That said, the soups and sandwiches were fantastic and the cocktails we had while we waited we're also delightful.

I really wanted to love The Ruby Brink. It had a cute atmosphere and our waiter was so sweet.
The concept of the restaurant is great and ethical.
Biggest hang up was the food.
I got the spicy ginger noodle soup and it was so disappointing. The broth only had flavor of bone, no aromatics.
The cabbage had some questionable marks on the pieces.
The dish was so underwhelming, it only tasted of ground beef and bone broth.
There was no aromatics or flavor to the dish. This is harsh, but I would have rather eaten ramen from the store.

Cute concept, but we did not have the best experience. When you first walk in there is a sign for a family seating area and a 21+ area. We had our toddler with us so chose the family seating area and sat outside, but they didn't offer a high chair or a kid's menu so it didn't seem very family friendly despite being called the family seating area on the sign. We were also the first or one of the first tables to arrive and waited an incredibly long time for drinks and then our food. The waitress said they were understaffed so I understand, but she didn't communicate that to us until she brought our food after already waiting an incredibly long time. The food was good but expensive for basic sandwiches and chips. Would not return.

This place is one of a kind! We love the butcher element + amazing cocktails. It’s the perfect place for date night at the bar… try the spicy noodles - the cold dish for summer -

We Love Ruby Brink! Burger night—say no more…! The beef dip sandwich on the lunch menu is another favorite. We love eating here for so many reasons though. This isn’t a “high staff turnover” type restaurant where you’ll be greeted by stressed out workers plastered with fake smiles fighting over tables like you might be used you. This is a grown-up establishment with grown-up food and grown-up and experienced, competent and empowered staff and I appreciate how this dynamic expressed itself in terms of guest experience. When I say that the food is grown-up I mean that it is carefully selected and prepared from scratch and this means it does not taste like what other restaurants are doing, which often is buying bags of frozen soup and sauces from the chef supply store to keep costs down and to keep everything tasting exactly the same, every time. You will taste different things here and that might surprise you. Ready yourself for that and enjoy!
Farm to table. Incredible tastes and bold offerings. Best serving staff ever. All rock stars. Love love love this place.
