If you are looking for a wine tasting experience I strongly recommend College Cellars of Walla Walla. Students run the tasting room and are very knowledgeable about the terroir of Walla Walla & the wines. Gavin & Bailey were our hosts and were a delight. They also suggested Walla Walla Bread Company for lunch. My husband had an incredible lox and bagel sandwich. I had their chicken salad. Both were definitely shareable.
Great wine. Beautiful venue. Awesome to support our great future wine makers. Alex was our host and was so knowledgeable and fun. We got to play a fun wine tasting game and Alex lead us through the components of wine tasting, ultimately leading us to guess the varietal.
This was by far my favorite tasting in Walla Walla, and possibly ever. Not only were the wines delicious, but the students are SO knowledgeable without being pretentious.I think I learned more about why I like the wines I do and how to find them in an hour here than in over 10 years of drinking wines. We even got to taste 2 wines made with the same grapes, in the same way, the same year, just grown in different soil a few miles apart. It was so cool to see how that affects the final wine.
We went there not knowing what to expect. It turned out to be the highlight of our trip. We will be back!
Super friendly and knowledgeable. Excellent prices.
College Cellars is a great educational winery in the heart of Walla Walla wine country.
Employees are very knowledgeable.Very warm & friendly atmosphere.
Love this place ..always very reasonable prices and good wine ?
Enjoyed a great tasting at College Cellars. Cory was very pleasant and knowledgeable, guiding us through the multiple wines produced at the college. The Mouvedre from Stoney Vine Vineyard was the favorite of the day, but we added Cabernet Sauvignon and three different Syrahs to our mixed case. Do not miss out on these wines as the quality and value make them a must in your rotation.
Great wines with a wide variety to sample. Excellent service.

Enjoyed a tasting and meeting the new first year students. And, of course, taking a bottle home.. What a fun way to support education!
Wonderful tasting! I learned so much about wines and felt comfortable asking questions. Their education program and industry is so interesting to learn about. Got a case of wonderful wines! Highly recommended tasting experience!
We started visiting wineries in Walla Walla 8/26/22 and discovered many of the winemakers were graduates of the College Cellars enology program. So we went to the college tasting room and had an informative and delightful visit there, bought some of their wine and wonderful port. Students and teacher were very helpful. Bob & Robin
