In a town known for its fine wines and small-town charm, Hattaway's on Alder brings something unexpected — a taste of the South polished with Northwest finesse. Tucked just off Walla Walla's main drag, the restaurant hums with the low, steady confidence of a kitchen that knows exactly who it is and what it wants to say.

The four of us were seated in their Wine Room which is a private area with a table for up to 8, surrounded by beautiful bottles of wine. Our server was very attentive and provided helpful suggestions for food choices. The menu is eclectic for sure, with many interesting choices. The food was delicious, nicely presented with generous portions. It was expensive for sure - not for the budget minded. But it was a good value nevertheless.
