Seriously some of the best sushi/ Asian food I've had in a long time and I've eaten a lot of it. We walked in right after work not at all dressed up and the servers didn't bat an eye very welcoming and attentive! They were playing some great music and the place looked amazing we might have been the ugliest looking things in it so what else can u ask for.

They got my order wrong and then tried to defend it. They refused any refund and they do things "differently" than other sushi places nearby. If you have a favorite roll from other places don't expect it to be the same here at all!!

I lived in Japan for seven years and really miss some of my favorite dishes like Katsudon. So was excited when I read this new Japanese place opened. Unfortunately it was not very authentic all around. Staff and music played was Chinese. No problem as long as food was Japanese but my katsudon was not that. They had it ready 3 mins after we ordered so I feel they just reheated it. They just poured katsu sauce over the meat and put scrambled egg with rice and added cabbage randomnly. That is NOT katsudon. Katsudon is a Japanese pork cutlet rice bowl made with tonkatsu, eggs, and sautéed onions simmered in a sweet and savory sauce not yaku bbq sauce. I was very disappointed

Asaka Sushi is our favorite. We come from near Salem Oregon to see relatives frequently. We have gotten into the habit of picking up Asaka Sushi because we all love it. Thank you Asaka Sushi!!!

I absolutely loved the genuine Japanese environment, the serving plates and chopsticks and seating arrangements, the food there was equally genuine and delicious with the perfect wasabi not being as strong as the horseradish wasabi in most stores, there was a language gap when ordering but this totally did not take away from the experience for me. the hospitality was very accurate and appropriate for the culture and I will definitely come back although this time without the kids out of respect for the waiters in this fine establishmentOverall..umai! ?Kid-friendliness: They were very tolerable about my little sister and little brothers obnoxious behavior and noise and it is greatly appreciated

Had a bit of a letdown at this local sushi spot I was excited to try. Went in dreaming of some amazing Tonkatsu Ramen with chashu pork, but what I got was… well, unexpected. They decided to throw a bunch of iceberg lettuce on top, which was really weird. It was so out of place that the bland broth ended up tasting more like lettuce water than the rich, tasty broth I was craving.I thought maybe the ramen was just a one-off mistake, so I gave their sushi a shot. Nope, same story. The fish tasted like it wasn’t fresh, and the rice was so tough and chewy, it reminded me of the kind of sushi you regret buying at a gas station.Definitely bummed out since I love supporting local spots and finding new places to eat. But I guess this time, it just wasn’t meant to be. I’ll be on the lookout for another place that nails those awesome Japanese flavors.

Great sushi, if a bit of a wait. Had only 2 chefs banging out tons of to go orders and a full restaurant. Quality sushi, repeat customer. Thanks for the great grub! Hire more guys!

Fantastic place with good food. No music the couple times I've gone there makes it a little quiet which can be awkward since you can hear everyone's conversations, but it's worth it for the food quality. Service is very nice.
