We stopped in the other night for fish and chips and some drinks. There were a bunch of people in playing pool that were obviously regulars. Two women in particular had clearly been over served and were continuing to get shots. They were so loud and kept yelling and squealing like 12 year old girls despite being in their mid-50s by my best estimate. It smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. The bartender wasn't very friendly and didn't really check in on us, but the cook was very nice when he delivered our food. I had the worst Hot Buttered Rum I've ever had and my husband had a well gin martini. The fish and chips weren't great, but not the worst. Very bland. The tartar sauce wasn't great either.

Friday all you can eat fish is the best !! The atmosphere is old but nostalgic. Sometimes the staff can be very busy - so go wen you are not in a hurry 😊 the burgers are great too !

Been here a few times, but the last time was the last. Took over 10 minutes to have my order taken, sitting at the bar. Then took an additional 35 minutes to get a burger.
