I’ve have been out to this locations a number of times for a quick pint but decided to bring the family in after a day of hiking in the gorge. The beer couldn’t get any better than this and they have good to match! Everyone is always so friendly and just a great atmosphere to relax and enjoy a couple of pints.
The only thing I’m mad about is the fact I didn’t come in here sooner. This is the best food I’ve had in Washougal and I’m not even being dramatic! We eat out a fair bit, from dive bars to 5 star restaurants and yet nothing I’ve had from this spot has been any less than 10/10. Rarely do I order food and have nothing I’d change about it, but THIS is the exception. Their menu is small but all the food is excellent. So excellent that I late night ordered a calzone (not much open late in this area) and went back the next day for more.
The sausage and pepperoni calzone was perfectly cheesy, not overly bready, and clearly high quality ingredients.
The next day, the fondue was fabulous and the Italian grinder sandwich… well, it’s now my favorite. The bread on it is great, and I’m a major critic. The Cadillac margarita also was top notch.
I wouldn’t hesitate to order anything on their menu, nor any of their drinks. This is definitely my new Washougal spot!
A note - their menu changes regularly it seems like. Check online, but also call if there’s a single dish you NEED because even the online one wasn’t 100% up to date.
Pretty good pizza here if I do say so myself. I e killed many hours here eating and drinking and bullshitting with other customers and staff alike. Definitely with checking out!
The food was good and the drinks were tasty. I recommend eating here!
Best beer in Clark or Skamania county. We also enjoy the pizza and the great bar tenders.
I love this place! There is no other place in town where I can roll up on my bike and grab a caesar salad & a pint. They have fantastic pizzas and phenomenal lunch specials too! The only downfall (if you can call it that) is the fact that you have to go to the counter to order. They do not have wait staff, other than to bring out your order. The line in the evenings can be daunting, but it's always worth the wait. I have a unhealthy fondness for Stouts. I recently tried their seasonal cupcake stout. Dear Lord!! Decadence to the inth degree!! You're welcome. Cheers! 🍻
P.S. Don't forget the community games too! Checkers anyone?
Friendly pub in downtown Washougal. Very tasty pilsners and IPAs.
I tried their Interiority 14% ABV imperial stout at Denver's Great American Beer Festival and was astonished at how well this stout finished. Then, I found out that it was conditioned on cacao and vanilla beans from Madagascar/Uganda/Ecuador/Indonesia. Phenomenal and deserves much credit!
Only reason downtown Washougal isn’t completely depressing.

Stopped in for lunch after the Art & Music Festival. Order at the bar; food is brought to you; buss your own table. Hubby had the El Jefe sandwich. He knew there were jalapeños in his sandwich, but he said it was overly spicy. The mac salad that came with it was just ... weird. Paprika overload. He left most of it. I had the "Brian with a Y" pizza. Looked good but was soooo bland and really didn't have much of a pesto flavor at all. We might try this place again in the future, but for today, we were very underwhelmed.

Excellent food and very good beer, big portions, freshly prepared. Service was quick and friendly, the space is clean and organized. Highly recommend.
Amazing place, my boyfriend and I love coming here and the mocktails are delicious
I really only get to go food here! But they don’t treat me any different, super welcoming so kind & very friendly. They go out of their way to make sure I have literally everything I need. (Some places just want you out of there sight after the transaction lol)
The bartenders are alert, knowledgeable, and kind
The beer cheese absolutely bomb!
Thanks for coming to shoug!!
The food was decent, staff nice, and location fun. But the prices are outrageous. $17 for a sandwich? That's about $22 after tax and tip. It cost nearly $70 for two people to have lunch. At a certain point, you're just taking advantage of people...
Their light Beam beer is excellent, it's light and refreshing! Great atmosphere, food, and beer.
