El Agave Authentic Mexican Restaurant

I have mixed feelings about this place 🤔. I’ve been here twice — the first time was about a year ago, and everything was great. The hostess, the waitress, and even the waiters were all super friendly, and the food tasted really good 😊👌. It was a genuinely enjoyable experience.

Fast forward to my second visit a year later, and things felt quite different. The hostess barely spoke to us, and our waiter seemed pretty disengaged 😕. On top of that, the food this time was extremely salty, which took away from the meal. It honestly felt like a completely different experience compared to before. Maybe we just caught them on an off day? I’m not sure, but I hope it was just a one-time thing.

I’m kind of torn. I’ve eaten here twice. First time I ate here around a year ago the service was fantastic. The hostess, waitress and waiters were super friendly and the food was really good. Second visit a year later and the service was less than fantastic. The hostess barely spoke a word to us and the waiter seemed to be pretty disengaged. Also, the food was extremely salty. Maybe we came on a bad day?
I want to give this place the benefit of the doubt though based on my first visit, but I can’t fully ignore the second visit.

I got the six street tacos(carnitas) & my hubby got the Mexican trio. We will be coming back when we visit again. For those looking for good Mexican food, this is the place.

Gil served us and was very kind with excellent customer care, funny and handsome. The food was delicious, we came last year when we visited and couldn't wait to come again. Every year when we visit Wenatchee we will come to El Agave. I had the Pollo al la Chipotle and the taquitos were out of this world!! 10/10 Thank you from all of us!!

I stopped here for a quick to go while on the road. I was not disappointed. Great service, fast and reasonably priced. My food really scratched that Mexican itch I had.

Mediocre food, mediocre service. Went here on a late Friday afternoon. It was pretty empty. The presentation of the food was good. Unfortunately, both the Super Burrito Asada and the Enchilada Suiza were pretty bland tasting. Once the server took our order he was absent. And nobody ever came by to ask how the food was. Next time we're in town, we won't be going back here. Very disappointing.
