Stones is also one of the only nice places in town where you can celebrate with medium to larger size groups, I’ve had my birthday dinners here with ~20 people and the service is consistently fast and we are never felt like a burden. “We went for dinner based on the past experience of my wife's past experience. The waitress was the first positive for sure, it is nice to see someone who enjoys their job, she was the high point for sure. Getting a great steak was the main goal here, we were disappointed, this was not due to the preparation, it was the quality of the steak that was the issue, this was Choice grade at best, not tender or melt in your mouth. Went for the Whiskey Onions, the Onions were not caramelized, no real flavor, same with the side of sauteed mushrooms. Savory is what we were looking for, did not happen. I guess this is best summed up as "Not what it used to be" I will say however, the Margharita was very good!”

The Manila Clams were fresh, sauteed in a light sauce of white wine, a splash of cream (not heavy or thick), garlic, lemon. Served with a house salad and fresh baked bread, with whipped butter. If you haven't tried this and love clams you've got to try it, you won't be disappointed!”

“Let me start with a back story. I’m a new mom of 2. My oldest is 2 and youngest is 2 weeks. I haven’t got much sleep on the last couple weeks, and decided to stop for coffee on my way out of town. They were busy, so I wasn’t too sure if I should stop but decided to anyway. As I was waiting my two week old started screaming (he doesn’t like the car to stop), but I was next in line and needed a pick me up! So I ordered and got a chocolate milk for my two year old. The barista handed me my drinks and said that she had already paid for my order, she was a mom of two as well and understood (the baby still screaming at the time). But I have to say that Lemolo has a grinder sandwich and it is hands down one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had in my life. I can’t say enough good things about it. They were helpful in picking out a cupcake, had a lot of pre-made cupcakes to choose from and when I asked if they had an individual candle to buy, she brought out a whole jar and let me choose. She also exemplified excellent food safety the whole time and had a friendly, welcoming demeanor. After stopping at a different bakery and getting 0 customer service and a cold greeting, Cupcake Blues hit it out of the park! They'll be my bakery of choice from now on.”

“What a great spot! Service was great. I changed my order almost three times because they have many options and the waitress was very patient with me. I ended up getting a number nine and it was delicious! Very traditional which was appreciated. The waitress was willing to tell me which bubble teas were made with syrup in place of the powder. The tapioca pearls were a good size and cooked perfectly (not soggy!). Packaging was considerate to keeping my car clean.

I have yet to have something I don't like. they are becoming part of my regular rotation for food options. They do have a small indoor seating area. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I LOVE this place. (the only thing lacking,.. it needs to be by the ocean beach & serving margaritas)

“When my thoughtful friend Andrew mentioned this spot , I knew it was a must visit. Most are mainly familiar with the fantastic rock climbing gym set up. My daughter tried it and loved it.

Yet many may be unaware that a delicious cafe exists inside this rock climbing gym!

The dinner options revolve around handmade dough (you can see Jaime the chef/owner/Mc Glinns head chef - prepare it).

We tried 3 different pizzas and the kids gave them high ratings with an avg 4.75/5 being thoroughly impressed by “the crust and savory flavors.”

I of course agreed! Being from Chi-town (Chicago) I’m serious about pizza and do have high expectations (maybe even pizza snobby). I was very impressed with all the options and even tried the Thai pizza and that was surprisingly fantastic!

Garlic & Cheese (alter version of the Fred Beckey)

Outer space (without the pepperoni) Arugula, roasted red peppers, and hot honey.

Wild mushrooms w/out the mushroom ? Arugula mozzarella, Gorgonzola, garlic cream sauce!

Fun fact: Jaime is also the creator of the blueberry pizza at McGlinns! ? ???”

“The food is top quality and my entire meal came out literally before my friend who ordered after me finished ordering. The staff is always friendly. They do their job well, but clearly aren't brainwashed by corporate overlords. Didn't try to force upsales or anything. They also play great music and have an immaculate vintage vibe

Parking: There's a large lot that's set up so you don't have to back into or out of any of the spots

Kid-friendliness: Plenty of kid-friendly options on the menu. It's clearly a family-oriented restaurant

Wheelchair accessibility: The doors are easily wide enough for someone with a wheelchair, though they are double doors so someone would need to help open them. There are no steps or curbs to prevent access to the door”

“All Starbucks are essentially the same. They have several non dairy milk choices. They have exactly one gluten free, vegetarian item - - an egg/omelette thing. Fast breakfast in a pinch, but no variety. Customer service is consistently good.”

“They have the best Mexican pan in town. The bread is always freash and soft. They aren't accepting EBT at this time and haven't for several months. I keep forgetting to ask why, but the bread is seriously the BEST! Great customer service.”

The younger cashier staff was a bit short and when he returned the change to my significantly older companion he put the change on the counter instead of in his hand. Since they have to provide cash change this way in the drive up there should not have been a reason he couldn't have given the cash change to my friend's hand. When you have arthritis little things like that can be a huge discomfort. General customer service etiquette could use a refresher.”

The yakisoba had the perfect amount of fresh veggies and the honey walnut shrimp was AMAZING!! The customer service was great and I was impressed with the variety. They had a well stocked poke bar for freshly made poke bowls with several proteins to chose from. The food was so good and now this is my favorite restaurant”
