I usually do drive through pickup because I travel for work.
Typically, if an order isn’t able to be fulfilled you communicate with the customer about it.
Continued on my route to find 2 things weren’t in stock. Instead of communicating with me, they substituted for the base side.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m grateful it was substituted, but if I pay an extra for a different side and don’t get my money back - how’s that fair?

Had someone named Mario take my order. He was so pleasant and cheerful on the intercom. He just made my day!
The service was slow. I could barely understand the guy behind the counter. And the main reason I went in was the soda machine that had the 1000 flavors or whatever it is and it doesn't even have that anymore. They didn't have any of the extra flavors just what you can buy at a grocery store.

Jack in the Box is a convenient option, but its menu has been shrinking. While the food may not be amazing, the service can be exceptional, with friendly employees making up for the lackluster food quality. The food can be good and fresh, although not the healthiest option, and some items like the Meat breakfast burrito and kids bacon cheeseburger may be skimpy. However, some locations, such as Wenatchee, stand out with food that looks like the menu display and tastes really good. Issues with orders being messed up and overcharging still occur, and the drive-thru can be unreliable, especially with coupons. To avoid lukewarm food, it's best to wait and order when arriving, rather than using the drive-thru or picking up an online order. Overall, Jack in the Box is a last resort, but with friendly service and decent food.
