We go to tastebuds fairly often but this visit wasn’t great, got to say! We showed up without a reservation and got seated immediately which was amazing. Our server was amazing as well. We ordered two appetizers and all got a meal on top of that.
I got the t bone special and it came out raw? It was so raw I had to send it back.. Usually I’m not a person who sends back food too.
They remade me a new one and the new one came out questionable in a few spots as well.
My husband and I assumed that maybe there was a cold spot on the grill? Or they definitely cook the steaks from frozen (which I’m suspecting might be the case).
The only reason I’m writing this review is because that second steak that came out unfortunately got me sick last night.. other than this situation everyone else enjoyed their dinners and the appetizers were good.
That’s all!
Made reservations yet when we got there was told they forgot because they had been so slow. Ordered drinks and two appetizers,. When drinks came given to the wrong people, ordered one more appetizer that arrived a good 10 minutes before the first and had to ask for silverware. Three salads came and we said there should be one more. Waitress then questioned my daughter who received a salad in error and was already eating it. Had to asked for her to just bring another salad, I pay for it to difuse the scene she was making because she was making my daughter feel embarrassed. Then the bill came and I see she is getting a 20% tip because of it being 7 people and it totally blew my mind as with none of the issues was a I am sorry issued. Good food, not worth the price and the humiliation we went through.
We found the food subpar. Everyone in my family was just okay with the food. I feel that it was overpriced for the quality.
Steak was done perfectly, tender & tasty!
Shrimp was awesome.
Cake smooth and gluten free
A 4.5 experience for us. We are not from Wenatchee and simply Googled restaurants in the area and this one popped up and looked very inviting.
It was and the food was great.
We sat at the small bar and ordered clam linguine and the prime rib sliders. The clam linguine was phenomenal. The prime rib sliders were a little thin and not much to them for the price. The red potato fries were delicious I honestly thought they were going to be greasy but they were not.
The Bloody Mary was okay. I wanted a Long Island tea however they were out of the Barton's Long Island tea mix so even though they are a full bar couldn't make one the old fashioned way... I ordered something else and it was fine.
If we are ever in the area again, it will definitely be our number one choice.
Stopped at a different restraunt & they could not accommodate our group of 5 adults& 1 child so we walked across the parking lot to Tastebuds & were warmly welcomed. Ordered truffle fries appetizer which came hot & quick along with drinks. Wait staff thoughtfully brought covered cup of water for kiddo. Combination pizza, chicken pittica, chicken avacado and Ruben sandwiches were delicious and reasonably priced. Atmosphere was not loud, so we could visit. Staff were attentive and super. Such a great find!
Great little place with excelent moderate to higher priced foods and alcoholic beverages. We had excelent halibut fish and black cod tacos! Yummy! Great appetizers as well!
Wheelchair accessibility: Bathroom was very nice sized although there is just one co-ed for the whole place, just one toilet.

our waitresses was perfect, however the foodxwas another issue. I had the avocado chicken.and soup. ( it used to be amazing, a tender chicken breast with smashed potatoes and excellant fresh veggies
Now (August 6, 2024), the veg (excellent). and potatoes ( not very warm but good flavor and texture) were still ok - the chicken however is now 2 flat round patties, tough, dry, tasteless and lukewarm, and not at all appealing in appearance). If I had not ordered chicken, It would have been white mystery meat.. I suspect it came frozen and was only warmed up. .
Dessert was ok, cheesecake (food service kind, but still ok
No one in our party will be returning.

We were given gift certificates or we wouldn't have gone in as wine isn't really our thing. The food was fantastic, Robert had "Cilantro lime salad with grilled shrimp" and I had the "Taco salad".
It was happy hour and we ended up ordering "Long Island iced teas" ?...
It was reasonably priced for the type of place it is and without the gift certificates, it would have been around $80 after the tip. ☺️
Demi was our waitress/bartender, she was very sweet and totally professional.
So thank you to the person who gave us the gift certificates. We are definitely telling all of our friends about this place. ?

I have been to Tastebuds on many Wenatchee visits over the years.it was always fine. i dined there yesterday and maybe they got the order wrong? yes, I now see that whether the server goofed or the kitchen goofed. I ordered the Cilantro Lime salad, but what I was served had no goat cheese or spinach nor dressing. So they must have served me the blackened shrimp salad instead, and all of it was awful. I give 3 stars as my companion seemed happy with their pizza.

Ive lived in the valley all my life and never have been to Tastebuds, Great looking place...Terrible food. I had the soup salad and bread. The soup was a little stringy and had a sour taste, the sour dough bread definately needed some help. The Penna Pesto Smoked Salmon Was drowned in so much sauce, and the salmon looked like it was pulled out of a package and was very stiff. The presentation was lacking. The salad was incredible for both of us except they brought out the wrong dressing, margarita was nice and strong and delicious... although who can mess up a salad or a drink. Didn't feel like we got our bang for the buck but, Hey at least we tried it.

Food is excellent (except for the pizza - don't order the pizza unless you have TERRIBLE taste in pizza). Great salads, good prime rib. They have an excellent selection of wine at the same price as the grocery store. This is our go-to place after wine tasting.

The clam chowder is really delicious and the bread ufff delicious!! ???????
For $65 for a meal it was waaaaay too salty. The waitress did discount a tad but the steak and broccoli were so salty. Also mashed potatoes just hidden under the steak which amounted to a tablespoon. Service was good but way too slow. Sadly won’t be going
