Had a great time at Szmanias Catering pop-up dinner 8/23rd! Fun spot, great vibe and delicious food!! My favorite cider was "The Duchess" but each paring was refreshing and complimented the dinner well. The warm Rhubarb Custard pie with whipped cream was incredible too. We ate it so fast, we forgot to take a picture :-)
We met Sarah, the owner of Watercore, at a separate event outside of the brick and mortar location. We had a great visit, discussing the ciders available at the event (Dutchess was especially delish!!!) as well as the cider-making process. She was so kind and generous in sharing her knowledge. The ciders were beyond what I imagined and there is no comparison with generic grocery store cider. As visitors to Wenatchee, we will miss visiting her establishment’s open hours....
Highly recommended, I shared a sweet potato pie and a cider with a friend and it was absolutely amazing. The environment was welcoming with so many local artists at the open mic event. I will be going back, the pies were a very nice and unique touch.
