Look - lts a bar, maybe a bit seedy. But it is a fun place for a drink or two with friends and getting some grub! No pretense…food was more than decent and the Bloody Mary’s were assume. . We two couples arrived midweek in early afternoon. Had the place almost by our selves. I assume on a weekend it’s more active.
Good chowder, a pleasant efficient server covering tables and the bar.
My partner thought the fish portions on his fish and chips was a bit light, but food was good. I liked the onion rings.

Clam chowder was good. I also ordered fish and chips and there were no fries with my order. The fish was also not breaded which confused me. It did still come with tartar sauce so I think I got the correct order. The cook actually brought it out so I’m not sure if he just didn’t care or made a mistake reading the order.
