LDT Wine Company is located in the heart of downtown White Salmon. Big windows allow for a street view and let in lots of light to this small, comfortable tasting room. Warmer weather makes the sidewalk bistro tables or the outdoor seating very enjoyable. Knowledgeable and engaging staff.

So, if you're reading reviews for Le Doubblé Troubblé, you're probably visiting White Salmon and looking for wine. Look no further. LDT wines are excellent. High quality and unpretentious using mostly Columbia Gorge fruit (some Columbia and Willamette Valley as well). The tasting room itself is comfortable. Chris, the proprietor, is extremely knowledgeable and personable.

Another benefit: Often, wines from other local producers is available for tasting and purchase. The Gorge AVA is making waves for good reason, and the one-stop-shop nature of this tasting room is one of those reasons.

Great wines, friendly, knowledgable staff. Cute, artsy atmosphere. One of our favorite stops in the Hood River region. Carrie was charming and helped guide us to another small, fabulous winery we might have missed without her direction. Highly recommend,!

We were visiting the Hood River area from South Carolina and found this place because they were one of the few open past 5pm on Sunday and we are so glad we did! Had a wonderful tasting of their wines by Carrie who was fabulous and enjoyed some nice charcuterie & olive snacks while tasting wine and having lovely conversation. Exactly what we were looking for.

We love LDT. Sometimes we go for tastings if we are with friends that haven’t been before, if it’s just us we have a few glasses of our favorites. Love the vibe of the place and have always had warm, friendly service. Definitely give them a try if you are in White Salmon.

Everyone else seems to have had great experiences here, but we got minuscule pours and unfriendly staff. Wine was fine. Energy, food, staff were not. They advertise tastings and group reservations, but seemed like they wanted everyone to leave as fast as possible. They were not interested in giving any information on the wines in their tasting list and it felt like I was forcing them to tell us any info at all. Maybe we got a bad day or something but compared to the the other wineries in the area /wine shops around the corner this one was a very negative experience.

I popped in recently after a friend from Portland recommended Le Doubble Troubble. Only two other people were in the bar, so I was lucky to enjoy a lovely tasting with pretty much unlimited access to the owner who answered all of my questions about the winery and its origins. Super fun vibe with a great atmosphere!

Very cozy wine bar serving tasting flights, wines by the glass (love their Sparkling brut rosé) along with cheese/charcuterie plates and select beer!
