By far the best pizza I've had in Washington. I'd drive multiple hours for this. Thank God I live less than half an hour away. Great staff. Great ambiance. And top notch amazing pizza. Real brick fire oven. Amazing. I'll be back weekly until I'm dead.
Wow. Not much to say besides that. Incredible. Intentional. Can't wait to come back

My husband and I stopped by on a rainy Saturday afternoon and we were absolutely blown away by this place! Everything exceeding our expectations from the food to the service. The pizza was the best we've ever had, the sausage kale dip was also amazing and the caesar salad was delicious and the dressing tasted homemade. They were pretty busy when we first got there but the staff had a great system down and they all worked well together to get the food out as quickly as they can and get everyone's orders and needs taken care of. We will definitely be back!

It looked good but when I got there at 6:27pm on a Saturday they had run out of dough. Wish I had not made the 80 minute drive. Ended up at Wally's Drive-In in Buckley, which had a great fish sandwich and chili. This was the second time I had tried to come to Carlson Block because a tree had fell, blocking the road on my first attempt. I don't think I am meant to try this pizza.
I REALLY wish I could give this place more stars because their pizza is really good, however their service is unfortunately horrific. I can usually order about 1 every 10 times I try. They rarely answer their phone, and if I’m finally able to get a person on the line, they hardly ever will take my order & say I have to come in to order. Fine, I go in to order, and then they tell me they’re out of dough, I can’t get any pizza. They will also close when they are out of pizza but no notification is posted, we have to drive there to see that they are closed HOURS before their posted close time. It’s usually around 5-6 pm when I attempt to order, its not almost closing time. This has happened nearly EVERY time I go to order a pizza, and I have tried 3 times in the last month, countless times before then as well. I really want to have Carlson Block pizza again, but they do not seem to know how to run a successful business & have the correct amount of dough, so it seems time to cut my losses. (I highly recommend Cascadia Pizza in Enumclaw as an alternative, they have great service & I am able to order every time I try.)

As a New Yorker, I can attest to this being the best pizza around! This is the unicorn of the west coast pie world. We probably love the Brussels sprout and the pesto pies the most.
Their ice cream is shockingly good too and the flavors rotate. We’re addicted to (like would probably commit low level crimes for) the espresso and the cookie butter flavors.
The homemade ranch and Caesar dressings are equally killer. This place just does all their food to an excellent standard.
They close when they run out of dough for the day, so get it while you can!

Definitely worth the hype! Amazing pizza that sells out even faster! The wife and I gave it a shot after a long day up in the mountains. What caught us by surprise is the in house made ice cream! They make a different flavor every week.. can't wait to go back and snag more of the next batch of Cookie Butter ice cream..

The pizzas are good, the dough has that great crispy and chewy to the bite sensation of good pizza, the toppings are good quality and they have some good combinations. They ran out fairly quickly, they opened at 3 pm, we arrived at 5 and by the time we were leaving, around 6, they put a sign up that they were out of dough. Salads are ok, one definitely goes there for pizza. The ice cream is also fine. The place is an old house, establishment and you can see it, hear it and feel it in every step. The staff are very nice and attentive.

Absolutely worth the drive. Best pizza dough I’ve had in a while. We tried both their pesto and vegetable pizza. 10/10
And try their sodas!

Pizza was good but waiting an hour and forty five minutes is not acceptable. Make sure you ask before you order.
