We decided to do a little drive towards Rainier and stopped by the Carlson Block for pizza, and we are so happy we did. Not only was the service super friendly but the pizza was delicious. We started with their Cesar salad which was honestly a perfect balance of ingredients. We then shared a pizza with half sausage and fennel then half brussel sprouts and bacon. Though not your standard toppings, these were fantastic. Honestly, some of my favorite pizza. We will definitely be back.

We stopped by around 4:30 on a Saturday and beat the rush and there is plenty of parking around.

Great Old School Pizza place. Great to stop on the way home from long weekend and not have to cook once home.

The food was great, pizza was flavorful, and the sourdough was light and airy. Fresh ingredients and great taste. The service and seating could use some work. It’s on a first come basis so if there are no seats you have to wait around for something to open up. Overall a great food spot with good vibes. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area.

They wanted me to wait 2.5 for one pepperoni pizza. My husband is diabetic and they wanted me to wait. They accused me of cutting in line.

We have been to Carlson Block a few times, and there is usually a decent wait for pizza/tables, but tonight was out of hand. It was over 90 minutes from ordering to getting our pizzas with no warning at time of ordering of it being that crazy. The inside was busy but not overflowing and we were able to get a table quickly and figured the pizza would be 30-40 minutes. The waiter was apologetic but it could have been avoided had they given us a heads up. The pizza is good here but not exceptional, and definitely not worth a 90 minute wait at 5pm on a Saturday with two kids in tow. I know good things are typically worth waiting for but we won’t be back.

Pizza was GREAT. However, over half our party was not able to even order food since they ran out of dough at 5:30 on a Friday night. I understand it can be limited, but dinner time on a Friday night seems like it could have been better planning. It's a cute little restaurant. I wish there was more seating. We will order ahead next time before we drive out there to get food to make sure everyone can actually eat

These people and their patrons care about the pizza experience. Spencer working behind the counter was very friendly and engaging with everyone that came in during my visit. The pizza was a delicious, wood fired, sour dough crust pie cooked to perfection. The building (circa 1910) was charming and clean. Definitely worth a drive to Wilkerson to perform your own taste test, but beware that they sometimes run out of crust later on weekends and other busy nights.

This is some of the best pizza we've ever had. It was so good and the staff was so friendly and helpful. The vibes here are also great. There's parking across the street.

Pizza was fantastic! Homemade dough and mozzarella. Everything fresh and from scratch. Unique combos to try. Homemade ice cream was yummy too. Absolutely loved this place. Takes 90 minutes from my house to get here but I wouldn't hesitate to go back. Loved the little town of Wilkeson. Lots of history here. Check it.
