Duck Brand Hotel and Restaurant

I loved the place. Appears to be an old Saloon and hotel. Nice rooms.

Wonderful patio with great food! We recognized they had limited staff for a busy Tuesday night but our server crushed it. She had an amazing attitude and was very friendly. Dog friendly on the patio.

We always stop here every year on our motorcycle trip with my buddies and had great food and service for some reason this year on June 17th, we stopped to have lunch and Viridina was our server and she appeared that she had no experience in customer service, overall terrible service and horrible food to the point that we ate 1/3 of our food only because we were hungry. Prices have gone up, tap beer $13.00. Overall expensive terrible lunch. Our stomachs were hurting until the next day. Sorry, no more eating there.

Amazing breakfast and great relaxing space to chill after a night of camping! Highly recommend!!!

10/10 recommend. Food was great. I ordered BBQ duck quesadilla and LOVED it. My daughter says they have the best fries and enjoyed her sandwich and my husband enjoyed his enchiladas! Service was friendly and food was prompt.

If I could give “0” stars that would be it. Besides us, there were people at only few other tables, so not busy. It took 30 min to bring us water. After that long, may as well order. I had BBQ Duck quesadilla and we also had chicken fajitas. By the time food arrived, beans had a crust on them and rice was crunchy. Tortillas were forgotten and we had to wait for them. Quesadilla was dripping oil. Duck pieces inside it were okay, but the whole thing was unappetizingly greasy. When we brought up food quality, we were told the food was supposed be like that and there was nothing wrong with the service. We asked for a bill and actually had to go look for it after a 15 min wait. Our waitress said that she was a manager and that there was nothing wrong with the food or her service. A place were people could not care less. We went to the hotel and had granola bars.

The food was delicious! Service was very good. Eating outside on the big deck in the shade and a nice breeze. There is a swing from a large tree for small ones to gently swing and dogs are allowed on a short leash. The hotel above is on our list of places to stay when we return to Winthrop.

Awesome tasting food. We really enjoyed our lunch time there, although it was our first time there. The staff were very busy so business was good.

The food was okay, but our server made us really uncomfortable. She seemed very put out when we would ask for something. I asked her if they would charge full price for my kids breakfast since they don't have kids meals for breakfast, only lunch and she wouldn't let me order lunch for them, she looked at me like I was stupid. When my friend asked for a coffee with her meal she said "you want a coffee? Okay..." I used to be a server myself and I would never treat my guests like this. Very disappointed.

To late for your amazing breakfast ? but lunch was amazing. Can't wait for the next trip!

HORRIBLE service, mediocre food. After about 40 minutes our server came back to say she lost our order, so we told her again, when we finally got our food it was not what we had ordered (twice) and was not very good. Find somewhere else to eat!
