“We found shelter one rainy afternoon in this lovely wine bar. It was actually closed but the owner was there doing work and took pity on us travelers. She couldn't have been more gracious. There was a good selection of wine which we all enjoyed and the view over the river was great. We will definitely be going back.”
“Local resident- had passed by multiple times because, well, menu seemed appetizerish. Decided to go tonight. Meatballs were AMAZING. Chicken seasoning and tenderness were to die for. Yams were good but didn’t dig the yogurt topping- would have preferred a more traditional melted marshmallow topping. GREAT wine selection, GREAT Tap wall! Ambience and service were 5 star for sure. Happy that there is a stage and that owner seeks ongoing musical talent from local artists. Personally think some traditional menu “entrees” even if one took the meatballs and chicken and added some veggies and rice or potatoes might pull some more folks in- BUT that is a very minimal critique. Oh and they have baguettes! Closer than Mazama! Overall, will DEFINITELY revisit! Good work!”
“Jupiter was a surprise in Winthrop, WA. For being gluten free, it’s sometimes hard to find options - but between the bowls and fried rice, there were plenty of options. My fiancé also loved the cookies (non-gf). So impressed with the curated menu for such a small town.”
“Great place to sit outside and eat after hiking around the Winthrop area. The pizzas are good as are the calzones. You can pick what you want inside the calzone and your pizza toppings. Service was great as was the food. Kid friendly!”
“I visited this place last weekend for the first time, and I LOVED it! JP and Mireya (I believe that's her name) are SOOO nice and their hospitality was definitely the highlight of our trip. The prices are very reasonable, the cider flight was great and the price was way better than other places I've tried, and the food... Delicious!!! I was not expecting delicious Mexican food when coming in (didn't take pics oops) but was pleasantly surprised. We loved this place so much we ate here twice during our weekend getaway. We will definitely eat here again next time we're in the area.”
“While visiting I had the pesto chicken sandwich and a pull apart cinnamon muffin (I can't remember if that's what it was called) and both were delicious! Great place for breakfast or brunch.”
“What an awesome little winery. Some traditional selections but also some wines that are less common in the states. I loved the Cabernet Franc/Merlot and my wife also loved the Semmiion/Pinot Gris. All of the wines are beautifully finished. Our host was Deb. She was super knowledgeable and so friendly.”
“We loved the veggie breakfast burritos here so much we had them twice on our recent trip to Winthrop. The blueberry scone (fresh made very morning!) was also delicious, as was the Blue Star coffee. Cute place and friendly staff.”
“8 family members had a dinner at the Arrowleaf while home for the holidays. We driven by it a bunch but never dined and well, it was awesome. Winthrop is not an easy place to give a gourmet dining experience too just based on the small local population and the influx of out of ownership that may or may not come from Seattle for the weekend so I tip my hat to the guys for bringing the noise. We ordered in a shared style and had the Red Wine & Herb Sous Vide New York Steak, Crispy Brussel Sprouts, the Pepper Jelly Baked Brie, Seared Scallops, the Tuscan Lamb Braise, the waffle fries, Lemongrass & Coconut Grilled Prawns, Mushroom Risotto of the house cocktails including the Limoncello Margarita and the mezcal, lemon lime & red wine float. Everyone enjoyed it all. The scallops were my favorite followed by the steak. The Tuscan Lamb was actually my last favorite. Just didn't hit my pallete this night but cooked fine. We were too full to order dessert and we had a nice long dinner together. We'll be back hopefully in the summer!”
“Great brunch stop on my day off The hot choc.is So delicious!! Muffins are amazing & egg scrambles Devine!! Also so many choices! Also glad you are now open 7 days per week !! I’ll pass the word!!”
“Spent all day hiking in N. Cascades NP and was famished but as we drove out to the VERY RURAL East on our way to Winthrop for the night, THIS PLACE WAS AN OASIS. As the sun set we sat outside, got two delicious pizzas and had two wonderful Polish beers you won't get elsewhere selected from a great selection of Polish beers imported by this Polish American family who runs the pizza parlor. They were the sweetest too as we were the last customers that night but we weren't rushed at all. All around perfect.”
“A nice family friendly atmosphere with delicious food. We popped in for an early dinner and were happily surprised by the quality of the food. Steak tacos were amazing. Fries delicious. Fajitas too. Will visit again.”
“This was a great basic diner breakfast. The food was great. This place is exactly as it should be. Portions could have been slightly bigger and would have loved a few more options on the menu but all together, great place.”
“The tequila selection and experience is amazing. Great margarita and the special was delicious. The host brought extra habanero for our salads to make it spicier. We had a great night.”
“We had a wonderful family dinner. The setting was beautiful, the service was great, staff were all super friendly and accommodating of our family (including young children) and the meal was delicious. We are so glad we dined here!”
“We had the local sandwich and it was top notch! So delicious, the flavor and texture was perfection! I also had the European Hot Chocolate which was the best Hot Coco I’ve ever had in my life. The staff was so kind and helpful and the food came out in less then 10 minutes. Would recommend!”
“Was very glad we ate here last night. Our server Davidson was very good. Friendly, knowledgeable. Drinks were good and our steaks and vegetables were prepared as we had requested. Never felt rushed at any time. Will definitely be back.”
“What a great addition to the Twisp restaurant scene! Tappi exceeds expectations. We ordered the Country Salad, the House Salad, the Linda and Uncle Feiix pizzas and the Polenta. Everything served piping hot by the friendliest servers. Word had gotten out, so definitely make a reservation. It's a small but mighty space. Next time I'll try the house made pasta.”
“The quality and flavor are on par with the big city taco trucks. We tried the tortas, tacos, and sopes and will come again when the taco craving hits us. I would love to see a spicy salsa option!”
“The food was delicious and it came out hot within 15 minutes of ordering. Also the waiter was very nice. The vibe was epic! - My son, age 11. I agree with all of this!”
“Excellent variety of food. Breakfast quiche, burritos, egg bagel sandwiches, and of course the Famous cinnamon twisps. New owners are carrying the quality forward!Kid-friendliness: Easy place for kids to be and enjoy!”
“Only thing that could improve this place is being able to eat it there (so I don't have to wait to enjoy the deliciousness until I get home) but other than that it is amazing.”
“The folks at La Fonda are always prompt with their service, the food is great, and everyone is friendly. I often get take out and they’re always on time and so tasty!”
“Super friendly person behind the counter. Great coffee. I was able to get a vanilla cold brew and it was spectacular. ? Also got a smoothie and a red bull splitzer and all were good.”
“An incredible find. Some of the best coffee in the Pacific Northwest, this place would be competitive in any Seattle neighborhood. An on-site roaster with plenty of seating, ample parking and excellent drinks at very reasonable prices.”
“Had lunch and some brews here today after a very very long ski. Beer was perfect (lots of options) and my BBQ burger we insanely good. Mushroom burger was also ordered and it was great too! Burgers come solo so if you want fries, don't forget to order!”
“We were in Winthrop for a hockey tournament but came here for Friday karaoke night. The place was busy and had a diverse group of patrons. Staff were welcoming and efficient, and the bar had a good beer selection. Karaoke was well-run, and the end-of- night sing-along was fun.Parking: In the evening, at least, parking is plentiful on both sides of the street.”
“30 years in business! That says it all. Friendly home town service and delicious pizza at this restaurant in Twisp. Hopefully, it will be around for another 30 years!!! Take out or take and bake only at the time of this review.”
“You will not find better service in all of the PNW! On top of that the coffee is consistently amazing the food is better than any drive through espresso stand that I’ve ever been to.Katie sets a high standard and it shows!!!!!”
