“Katie’s Pony Expresso quickly became part of my morning routine in Winthrop. It was right next to the Virginian Resort where I was staying, so I ended up stopping there all three mornings of my trip.

They had a different latte special each day, and I tried the special every time. Every single one was ridiculously good. I’d always heard Washington had great coffee, and this little coffee hut absolutely lived up to that reputation.

The prices were very reasonable, service was quick, and it became something I genuinely looked forward to every morning. I was very happy I happened to be staying right next door.”

“Best place hand down in Winthrop for breakfast!!! Great hot chocolate, quiche, cinnamon rolls. The jewel of the visit was their coffee cake. I would eat here everyday if I could!!!”

“Ate here last night with my wife and daughter. Fun casual outdoorsy atmosphere and delicious unique reasonably priced food. They bring one dish at a time to your table so you can fully focus on the dish and enjoy it. We loved all 5 dishes and the dessert. Our new favorite place in Winthrop. 👍”

“Sun Mountain Lodge is fantastic. Great stopover location between North Cascades National Park and The Okanagan Valley in British Columbia. Room was comfortable, food delicious and my wife enjoyed a spa day while I went fly fishing. Booked half day fishing trip thru the lodge with Outdoor Adventures. My guide, Derek, was great. His knowledge of the river, the fish and his patience with my limited fly fishing skills made for a great day of fishing and an even better day of catching.”

Hard to pick from the amazing variety of donuts but after one of the owners told us about his favorites and local ingredients used, I do not think you could go wrong! “LAFONDA! You. Are. Killing. It. Tonight we celebrated my most amazing sister In law! I love this restaurant because it’s family owned/operated by some seriously talented humans. We have been eating here for years, and tonight was so busy, but still the same great smiles ( although I couldn’t see them, I know what they look like) and customer service. Thank you for being a staple in this tiny town that needs you! The blackened chicken sandwich is like an explosion of seasonings, add some avocado, so delicious. The carne asada is usually my go to, never once have I not loved it! Some margaritas to top it for the birthday girl!”

Spent the last couple days in Twisp and been by Michael's coffee shack both days and the Caity's a fantastic barista. Hot coffee, cold milkshakes, all the drinks in between.

“The coffee is excellent. The selection of pastry items is extensive. The folks behind the counter are cheerful. Plenty of tables and chairs inside and out. The best reason to go to downtown Twisp is Cinnamon Twisp Bakery. You won’t be disappointed.”
