LAFONDA! You. Are. Killing. It.
Tonight we celebrated my most amazing sister In law! I love this restaurant because it’s family owned/operated by some seriously talented humans. We have been eating here for years, and tonight was so busy, but still the same great smiles ( although I couldn’t see them, I know what they look like) and customer service. La Fonda Lopez | Mexican is a family-run restaurant located on the Methow Valley Highway in Twisp next to the Chevron Station. The food is outstanding and truly delicious Mexican food. Dishes are obviously prepared by someone who cared using ingredients that were worth the effort. The sauces are homemade and everything is delicious and so flavorful. The roast pork in the enchiladas was some of the best, and the pozole on special was superb. Chicken enchiladas are infused with flavor, topped with sour cream and guacamole that set it off. The beef is braised and so moist and authentic. The menu includes burritos, Carne Asada, Nachos, burgers, sandwiches, salad, green curry, and much more, plus drinks like beer, wine, margaritas, tequila, and horchata. The service is fast, friendly, and attentive, and the casual setting is very friendly to a two-year-old. A nice place to eat with good food, friendly service, and a number of options.
