Decent breakfast. Few options for gf vegetarians. We had some sort of crustless quiche sort of things. It was good enough but I made a FAR better quiche myself a couple days ago so I was pretty underwhelmed. Had to put some hot sauce on it which isn't a good sign. Everything is pre-made so there's zero ability to customize anything you're ordering. Breakfast burrito in a bowl instead of tortilla? Nope! Cause it's all pre-made. There are only two choices for gluten free baked goods: a morning glory muffin and some kind of nut/seed/peanut butter bar. I had asked what they had for options and the gal at the counter was obviously clueless. She just pointed at the case. Um, I'm 4'10" and can hardly see whatever is in that case and some of the labels are blocked by others signs on the case. So that was annoying. They didn't even offer to warm the muffin. Both of those gf baked goods options were pretty tasty. But what I would give to walk into a place and see a gluten free cinnamon roll!! The very best part was the latte. Soooo good. Not overly sweet. Great temperature. Wonderful oatmilk. Definitely the best part of coming here was the latte. Four little crustless quiche things, 2 lattes, 1 muffin, 1 bar = over $50. Sheesh. Nope, won't be back unless it's just for a latte.

Love this bakery. It is close to the Hotel Rio Vista and opens early. Iced coffee with oat milk..yum! Breakfast burritos tasty, egg scrambles good just add salt and pepper but the cinnamon pull apart is to die for! Oh wait and the cream cheese muffins, any of the fruit flavors they offer, hit the spot as well. I just stayed in Winthrop twice in a month and ate here both stays. Including a delicious lunch of vegetarian panini. Customer service is spot on.

Underwhelmed. Had a roastbeef sand and a coffee. Both were meh. The pizza looked interesting as in- could that be something other than pizza. Food was edible. Coffee indistinguishable. Cool set up tho.

Nice atmosphere, prompt service. We had the rocking horse sugar cookie, molasses cookie, chocolate and pumpkin Whoopi pies, all were good!!

This is called a bakery but as far as we could see there was no food being baked or prepared here. The sandwich we got was at least a day old, with wilting lettuce and gross tomato slices. The baked goods were better but again, not baked on premises as far as we could tell. The place is cute, the staff was sort of grouchy, complaining about lack of people. Thinking that was because the food wasn't very good and the prices were high for an old sandwich. We didn't get sick but we did remove the produce from the sandwich. Not impressed. Should charge half prices for day or two old sandwiches.

It's a bakery that will stand up to the best in any foodie city. Friendly and efficient service, and the food is of very good quality and tasty . They have scones and a great breakfast sandwich

Cute bakery and coffee shop with lots of indoor (no pets) and a few outdoor tables. They have your standard coffee shop options with non dairy milks available, and also fresh lemonade. A variety of breakfast options including a burrito, biscuit sandwiches and egg scrambles (kind of like a crust less quiche). Only wish they had heated the egg scramble up, it would've been perfect! Lots of vegetarian options, not sure about vegan. They also had lunch sandwiches and paninis as well. Friendly service and reasonable prices!

This is a local favorite judging by the line out front before they open. The coffee was excellent, the breakfast burrito was perfect, The staff were friendly, and very helpful. The place was exceptionally clean including the restrooms.

Great Lariat coffee. Their scrambled (look like crust less quiche) are very good. We had a huge cinnamon role and the frosting was excellent! Very cute ambience with hanging bikes and saddles all around.

They have wonderful cinnamon rolls, and they made my coffee exactly the way I like it. They also make really good chai coffee. The people are very friendly and kind. We will be back.

Had breakfast today at Rocking Horse. Wonderful. Wife had a scone and I the cinnamon pull apart along with hot chocolate. Delicious. Quiet, several areas to sit, to include outside. Prices were good and friendly folks serving.

Great coffee and yummy treats! Stopped in for a morning caffeine boost and snacks. Service was friendly and helpful. Our group is seven sat outside to enjoy the river views and our ten year old appreciated having some tabletop games to amuse himself with while we chatted.

Lariat has the most consistent roast and flavor of any coffee we’ve ever had. We prefer the Outlaw blend for our daily espresso drinks. We order our coffee from 200 miles away it’s THAT GOOD!Thank you to Lori and the crew! Our mornings would not be the same without Lariat!
