Today was my third time eating at Akane under the new owners. Looking at the other reviews, I see the garlic miso ramen is very popular. That’s what I had today. Akane is one of the best ramen restaurants in Seattle. Excellent broth, generous amounts of toppings, and chewy noodles.
An unfortunately bland and forgettable bowl of noodle soup. Watery broth, limp noodles, and tepid toppings. A place most Woodinville residents desperately wish was better, but politely pretend doesn't exist.
Local ramen and teriyaki shop in a cozy shopping plaza. I heard they were under new management so thought I would give it a try. The inside is cozy and quiet enough to have a conversation. Staff were very friendly and nice, would always make sure I had water and checked in on me which I appreciate, and seems like it’s a mom and pop restaurant.
