Fantastic dinner during Seattle Restaurant Week (SRW). We went for the SRW fixed menu, after first cocktails ("Smoky Nutcracker") and a half dozen excellent oysters. Both the Charred Beet & Orchard Pear and Chanterelle Veloute were exquisite, as were the pork belly and sturgeon mains. Finished it off with Dark Chocolate Coffee Ganache and Pumpkin Bread Pudding, and we were super satisfied. Really great service as well.
One of the nicest dinner experiences in very long time. The Diver scallops and the Pacific Sturgeon not to be missed. The staff well versed in the wine list which was well curated. Treated us well.
My husband really enjoyed the breakfast so much that we went twice during our recent stay at The Somm nearby. It's off season. So, the place was pretty empty one morning and the next morning seemed much more busy. The employees were friendly on both days and the food was great. The barking frog breakfast with the pancakes was practically a value meal and I was able to give the pancakes and bacon away to my young daughter and have plenty left for a filling meal.
