This is such a beautiful place to eat, with attentive and kind staff, and delicious food. I tried several things and they were ALL perfect. With this so close to my work I am grateful to have found a new favorite place!

Vegetarian options: Tons of delicious vegetarian options.

We came early on Valentines day. No wait. Ordered the Lamb Rhogan Josh. Ohhh, my! Paired with curried cauliflower and potatoes, and a nice IPA, im in Heaven! Our server helped me decide between biryani, and the lamb rhogan, and his choice was perfect! Rich, tomato, onion, spices, lots of tender tender lamb. Im addicted. We got butter chicken that was very smooth, and delicious. 3 star heat was perfect. Hot in the throat, but still had full taste buds. My new favorite restaurant in Woodinville. Chocolate covered strawberries, and I forgot to take photos.... it is Valentines day, after all..

Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian optionsAlmost every dish style can be done vegetarian.

We have been coming to the Clay Oven for several years. Sadly this time does not leave us wanting more. The food was alright, my sister's beef kebab was tough as ol' boots. Not the best we've had there. They were out of several basic's, I know, who isn't. The service was very poor, could have been a trainee but no one was helping or correcting him. The manger was sitting at a table on his phone. Dishes were brought out that were not ordered and the worst thing was....he used pine sol or some other very strong smelling cleaner to wipe down the table next to us while we were eating. There used to be a woman there running the place. She was very on top of things.

I ordered twice from here through Grubhub. Oh man!! I am repenting why I did the same mistake ordering here again. They have no idea what Indian food tastes like. I ordered Paneer Biryani today they just sauted rice, onion and paneer. No spice no flavor and they call it Birayani. And the price is 20 bucks. For what!!

I could give a 0 if that was an option.Pathetic place, the manager did not turn on the heat even after requesting multiple times. Had to freeze to eat.The basic paneer curry was so watery and flowy without any substance or taste in it, you had to literally search paneer in the paneer curry. The biryani was a basic pulao with no connection or taste to biryani..Overall very bad experience in service and food. Regret paying $70 for 1 curry ,1 biryani and 2 naans.

We heard about this place from friends and have been here twice. Really amazing food and good service. They do keep the dining room rather cold, not sure why but that would be the only thing I wish was different.

Ordered butter chicken yesterday, it was disgusting. I was able to down a few bites before it started to feel like torture. This is the kind of food that I would expect people in the worst prison to be served. It tasted like bland watery tomato soup. I threw it all away. I wouldn't be surprised if bacteria avoided this good in the trash. They might have other good dishes but the butter chicken was all that I tried and as a first impression my disappointment is maximized.

Big fan of Clay Oven. Solid Indian cuisine. We often order three different spice levels and they do a great job of differentiating the heat! Saag paneer, butter chicken, vegetable kadhai are favorites. We always order takeout through Grubhub and it's always worked out very well. We've tried four other Indian restaurants in Woodinville/Redmond, this is our favorite and it's not even close!

I got the butter chicken since it is their most popular item. It’s very overpriced ($21) so I thought it was going to be amazing. It was the opposite. It was bland like tomato soup. You don’t even see any spices in the sauce. 2 stars because I liked the basmati rice that came with it.

Everything I've ordered off their menu has been excellent and they have one of the best waiters I've ever had the experience of serving me. I definitely recommend them. I've been back with friends since and they've had the exact same experience.

Very bad food, not all worth paying for food here. We ordered biriyani it tasted like tomato rice. And mixed grill starter was so bad, No masala was added. I do not recommend this restaurant.

Excellent food & very nice people. Food is very authentic for someone who enjoys Indian delicacies. I love their " Thali ", which is very reasonable for a regular lunch time. The best thing about clay oven is they maintain quality & hygiene. This is one of the best restaurant that I have ever been to in the greater Seattle area. We have been there multiple times & will go again.
