Though the wines didn’t resonate with us, the winery offered a nice ambience, live music (with cover charge), and standout service. The only real misstep was the cheese tray, whose steep price overshadowed an otherwise enjoyable setting.
We really like their wine overall and the live music they offer. They always have standout performers. However, we were a bit surprised when there is a happy hour reservation for two glasses of wine and small charcuterie on their website for $35. However, when we went in, it was $45. That's a 28.5% difference than what is on their booking system. This was a surprise when we got the bill. We will probably be back at some point for a glass of wine, but the $45 for two glasses...
As an industry professional in the food industry, it’s rare that a tasting room really stands out. David at Obelisco Winery was very knowledgeable very helpful as well as warm and receptive. And you add to that A stellar selection of wines I’ve seen in a long time. To call this Winery the king of reds is almost an understatement. I can’t recommend it high enough and feel fabulous about our purchases. ObeliscoWinery is worth the drive up from Oregon to be here again.
