Delicious fish! Very high-quality. Had the Omakase sashimi, Rainbow roll, and a Kawasaki roll. Also had the fatty tuna sushi… It was fantastic! Anytime I am in the area, I will visit again!

I truly think people here don't know what real sushi is. When I eat sushi, it's all about the fish, so I ordered all nigiris with the top fish choices. When you offer high grade fish cuts, it better be high quality fish and high quality cut, unfortunately here it wasn't. The tuna, toro, chutoro, otoro and all the fish in ordered was tough and cut with skin still on and pieces that the tendon is not fully removed. I actually felt sick last night after the meal. I expected more, especially due to the reviews. That being said, service was great, but the food quality masks it. Please hire an experienced sushi chef and don't compromise on fish quality if you are to serve high quality cuts. Not recommended.

Sushi Koushi is my absolute favorite sushi spot. My husband and I have been going since they first opened, and we have been so happy that a sushi place this good has popped up so close to home. Everyone here is very welcoming and helpful, and I'm always amazed at how quickly things come to the table even when it's a busy night.
Normally I don't like uni at all, but this is the only place that I have actually enjoyed it. The rolls and omakase always come out delicious and beautiful, but definitely give the Oita roll a try - it's great for any picky eaters in your party! The udon is also fantastic if you're in the mood for a noodle soup.
The one and only downside is that the location is a bit small and seems to be getting popular (for a good reason), so make sure to plan your visit accordingly!
