I’d absolutely recommend this place to any blue-collar family man. I’m raising a family of seven, and getting everyone out of the house without breaking the bank is no small task. Most outings easily push past $100—but not here.
When they’re running specials, we can order what we want, eat like kings, and forget our worries for a while. For the value you get, it’s hard to find anywhere better that still treats you like family.
Great food! Came for Thursday night specials...5oz. bacon wrapped filet (7.99)...also the chicken gizzard appetizer. Frank got the fish-n-chips and a bowl of chili. We sampled each other's and they were all good...nice batter, crunchy, on my gizzards and his fish. Will definitely come here again...not too long a drive to Woodland from Hazel Dell! And lots of refills on his lemonade...I had a pineapple/mango cider...so tasty and light!
Love the atmosphere, lots of regulars to chat with, good food and great service, can't beat the price on the weekly specials!
